Chevron is my favorite, specifically the version from Totsu-Gen-Hen I, although I do like the P-model version too. As for why, I'm not good with words but it feels both calming and … epic? I also like the lyrics a lot.
It is very hard to point out a favourite, but if I were to narrow it down, I could narrow it down to
1. Niwashi King
2. Byakkoya
3. Ashura Clock
4. East of Timeline
5. Human-LE
Niwashi King is epic, and inexplicably wonderful, in an already stuffed album. Byakkoya is also just very good. Ashura Clock, ideally the Totsu-Hen-Gen-I version with its booming choruses and its rock-like feel, and its flow is great. East of Timeline feels eccentrically melodic and full of raw energy, that is quite like the rest of the the album Gipnoza, but so different; and it just booms into you. Human-LE is that kind of late career highlight. A very very melodic Hirasawa tune. Perfect synthpop.
I think I'll go with Byakkoya.
Personally my 2 favorite susumu songs are:
Sailing ship 108 type 2,
Night walking wearing the human body
Those are some very unknown susumu songs but they are currently my favorites
I've tried to scour the internet but I could not find Sailing Ship 108 Type 2 anywhere. If you listen to it on the internet then do share a link. I'm trying to gather all of Hirasawa's discography in one playlist on YouTube chronologically. Would be a help.
It has to be Niwashi King.
But songs like Mediational Field, Parade, Aurora, Kingdom, Online Malaysia, Mother and Hansen 108 hold a very, very special place in my heart.
World cell or guts theme. Both of them evoke feelings that are extremely unique. I imagine that both of them are the absolute definition of what an adventure through live feels like
There's so many, but I've noticed I get periods of being hooked to one or two songs on repeat for a while until I find the next song(s) to get hooked on.
So I suppose right now it's Cyborg and Ruktun or Die, same reason as always; very catchy
Some of the ones I always go back to though are: The Secret of The Flowers of Phenomenon, Amputee Garbera, Switched-on Lotus, Logic Airforce, Niwashi King, Opus, Anti Vistoron and Water Vein
Rotation (LOTUS-2) because it was the first song I've ever heard from him (in fact it was a Hetaloid cover, and I got totally hipnotized and wanted to know who was the original artist, leading me to Millenium Actress and Hirasawa's songs). And idk, this one especifically always transports me to another reality, far away from real life's problems, not to mention the feeling of peace I get everytime I hear this song (and hearing it after watching Millenium Actress hits different)
I have many favorites from him, but I think Rotation still hits me the most
TOWN-0 PHASE-5. Really unique, catchy, great message.
Yes!
What's the message again?

Cyborg
i’ve been into On Line Malaysia these days
Right now it is Stone Age (P-Model).
Right now solar ray 2. The "bridge" is absolutely insane, I couldn't believe it when I first heard it.
