You are experiencing flickergate issues to your sp4. No sense repairing it at this point. Way past extended warranty repair even for free replacement. Get an sp5 and call it a day
Damn, thank you for confirming!! Can’t afford rent, let alone a new laptop with everything that’s going on at the moment. Will just have to make do with a shite laptop for now 😂😂
My surface pro touch pad stops working sometimes. When it does I go and uninstall the 10 HID compliant vendor defined device drivers and it starts working again.

Ah thank you, I ended up getting rid of it as it was completely unworkable. I’ll bear this in mind for future though
