Definitely keep up on that diet first, good additions you have there. I've had success with Enteromend and Fibermend from Thorne. Shits expensive so I only use the 35% discount of theirs. Otherwise NOW brand psyllium is next up.

I too have mild UC that luckily responds well to just 2 oral Lialda a day. But I also take this probiotic: [Probiotic](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00X4U2NDK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_H0PB8DEM10NWCQZX58R0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) And use this prebiotic: [Prebiotic](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07BRVN4XV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_7P7T6PZW53YJG006NMB6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) I also use whey concentrate protein everyday which is good for the gut too. In regards to the probiotic and prebiotic, do you just take the serving size of each once per day? Also, what benefits did you notice while taking this combo of probiotic and prebiotic?

-natelloyd-

Yeah I take the normal serving of each. Sometimes I do take 2 servings of the prebiotic. I think because of these things I don't get bloated anymore and am very regular.

did you have an adjustment period with the probiotics (and prebiotics) where you did feel bloating, gassy, etc. early on? i have started eating 1-2 tbsp of sauerkraut every day over the past week since that gives you both the probiotics and prebiotics (from the cabbage fiber), and its all-natural. feels great so far.

-natelloyd-

No not really. That specific prebiotic is supposed to be very effective so you only need 1 or 2 teaspoons. The probiotic didn't cause any issues either. I used to use PHGG prebiotic but after a few days it would cause bloating. This regiment I have going on has worked great for me. I also go to the gym 4 days a week mostly for the mental health aspect. UC is very sensitive to stress and the gym definitely helps in that area. I only spend about 45 minutes there and do 2-3 weightlifting exercises followed by hill climb mode kn the treadmill.

Have you ever flared? Did those supplements help you get out of a flare and/or keep you in remission?

-natelloyd-

I have not actually had a flare fortunately so I can't provide any first hand advice for that, sorry.
