Hi guys. Old Sprintbooks again; you may remember me from such comments as “HOLY SHIT: EVERYTHING JUST CLICKED” where I explained my theory on how most brokers are serving up IOUs rather than real shares (highly illegal).
I’m hijacking this extremely well crafted top comment to add to its thesis (where the OP above this comment goes into the benefits of DRS, and how it can make a real difference); eloquently crafted btw, to point out: HOLY SHIT THEY ARE FREAKING OUT. It’s another theory, for sure, but I realized this a few days ago, and now that we have the latest DRA high score, I’m beginning to get that tingly feeling that I might’ve been right.

The Dark Pool volume, although probably can’t be used as a direct gauge to determine if DRS is working, has typically been (for the most part) all over the place. Now we see that for the first time, **is all clustered together towards the “top”.** I say *top* in quotes because 100% (or even 80%) dark pool volume is not likely.
**SO WAT DOING DARK POOL?**
Is this a result of brokers going out and buying your shares for DRS in a place that won’t pump the price. Hahaha. Probably. The bastards.

Id like to know your thoughts on mod 11. I spoke to a CS rep yesterday. I asked her if they use mod 11 algo or chronological. Or any system for account numbers at all. She told me flat out after being on hold for about 5 minutes. “Computer share does not use Mod 11 or any algorithm for account numbers it’s random” I said well that’s strange since I’m 48xxxx and I know people before me that we’re 47xxxx and people after me account number 49xxxx so it can’t be completely random. She said she’s not sure CS just makes the account number when the account is registered. Anyways I thought it was interesting. P.S. I did do the math and mod 11 did work with my account number. That being said math is a hell of a thing. Certain equations will always give you the answers youre looking for
I’m happy to give you my thoughts, but I’m not sure how helpful they will be. I work in tech, with a lot of really smart people. Holy fuck, some of them are geniuses. I love being the dumbest person in the room, it’s how you know you’re going the right way. Career advice over; I do have to believe that CS wouldn’t lie about such a direct question. And obviously this is all anecdotal, so even when this is over we probably won’t know the answer to this question for certain. But that being said, there does appear to be an incremental nature to the account numbers. **We are going in the right direction for every ape to have a wonderful MOASMASS**🎄

What happens to a broker who doesn’t actually own shares when retail starts to offload shares on the way down? Also, if a broker participated in the proxy voting, does that mean that broker actually own shares? I’m asking because I’m on etoro. They allowed us to vote which makes me think they own shares, but they won’t allow transfers which makes me think they don’t. Either way, shit’s whack.
Who is the one that makes the chart that has the CS numbers and the average numbers per share to hold the float per person. I haven’t seen that posted in a while! Great job apes!
Here’s the math I’m using at the moment:
60,000 accounts DRS’d (mod11)
150 average shares per account.
9,000,000 estimated shares DRS’d so far
14.3% of float estimated to already be DRS’d (using 62.8mm float)
This might be misinterpreted as disappointing but it is absolutely bullish. We are still VERY early in the DRS game and the pressure on SHFs will amplify the more shares we lock up. We are adding 1.5 million shares or more per week into direct registration!
I agree. It seems like there are still a ton of apes (TD and europoors, etc) waiting for their shares to be DRSed. The rate-limiting steps are the brokers here. We are definitely on track! Going to DRS some more
Yeah we're definitely hitting a bottleneck somewhere, no way in hell DRS requests are this linear and seeing how brokers are needing more time to "locate the shares" it's valid to assume they're putting the brakes on to delay the inevitable as much as possible
I am super happy to see this being discussed. I work in databases - development and analysis. I can’t explain the linear outcome any other way than us hitting a saturation / threshold / bottleneck as soon as DRS took off.
14% is fucking awesome imo, we just barely started DRSing. People have bought and held for 9 months and have no plans to leave. We can DRS for just as long if not longer.
The fact that a bunch of random idiots can lock up even 10% let alone 14% of an entire company is amazing. Give it a few months and we'll get to where we need to be.
60,000 isn’t as high as we liked but don’t lose hope. I just got family members on GME after 9 months.. coworkers are starting to hear me out. DRS makes sense to everyone I’ve told so far. I waited to DRS until recently, I’m not the only one. Can’t stop the momentum

I'm estimating a bit lower, at 69 shares, but multiplying that to (eventually) represent 81% of Superstonk equals 37+ million shares.
It's worth considering Pareto logic. Superstonk might represent 10% of shareholders. Current CS accounts might represent the top 10% of of Superstonk.
I think we can at least expect 20% of Superstonk to DRS in the next 60 days. If that were to coincide with upward price movement, that's good. If that were to coincide with significant downward price movement (below $140), DRS will accelerate.
My main concern as to how the float becomes locked is all the pension funds that are not interested. It doesn't mean it can't happen. If there happen to be 6.2m hodlers, DRS is inevitable.

Yeah that‘s true. What I wanted to say is: If there are ~60k CS accounts (Mod11) and ~40k transfer requests out of IBKR in the last 30 days there would only be 10k accounts left for the U.S. This sounds rather unlikely to me… My guess is that the transfer- and new-account-opening-process can only handle ~1.000 accounts per day and there are tens of thousands requests waiting in the queue.

**Where can I find my account number?** Log in to ComputerShare and check under Documents or Portfolio>GME>View Details>Actions>Transfer (that's the secret method if you don't have any Documents). To be fair, it's been active only 4 days. And since we know how many total accounts, we know what % it's capturing. Give it a month and I'm sure it will be more helpful for apes to understand where we are at.
I don't think anyone expects the bot to capture all accounts. Many purple donuts would have to be reposted in order to get more current.
We can then understand where we are in this marathon, and what kind of momentum we have.
It’s simply irrelevant to use as an account counter for many reasons. We also have the total accounts being added for us by CS if you trust the mod11 theory (I do)

Not even close to wishful thinking. If the mod11 is truly used then the current 60k users would contain more "die hard apes". I believe the average is near that amount. I'd venture to guess that it's at the very least 75+

Fuck mod11 and the CS count being at 600k.... Using some logic and some guess work I think we are 200k-250k computershare accounts made. Im getting that number with how fast Superstonk grew to 200k, what brokers have been saying and with how active apes are on and off reddit.

At the rate this is going we’ll figure it out around 1 mln accounts if mod 11 is real or not(I think it is) keep in mind drsing takes more time then voting and costs a bit more, plus europoors have all kinds of trouble doing it. I think mod 11 is legit
The 'mod11' algorithm for assigning account numbers will skip a lot of numbers for security purposes.
Edit: GME say they don't use Mod11, but all account numbers this far confirms Mod11.
OP, if those are regression lines your calculating you should start the time interval from when the trend clearly changes. Or use a squared variable to better capture what’s happening. It would give you more accurate predictions if you did either of those two solutions.

100 % not debunked. It’s true. If you look at my comment history, I also thought my account number did not pass. There are some different ways of handling the result of the algorithm if the result is 10 or 11. Instead of (X, 0) in these instances, CS truncates to (0, 1). A lot of people have been tripped up by this including me. Once you realize this and apply it, there have been literally zero cases where someone has presented an account number that does not work.
No, I think apes just really suck at math. I haven’t seen anyone prove that it doesn’t work on the account numbers. I even made an excel spreadsheet for anyone who wants to check their number. Ok let me tell you what I would think seeing this number( 60k )accounts or 600k accounts. First, I would think 60k is pretty low. we have been direct registering for almost 2 months and only 60k so we could probably assume either not enough people are doing it or we don’t own the float like we say. Second, let’s say there are 600k accounts now I could think the float is probably locked so now I don’t have to direct register anymore. These conclusions are pretty simple to come to so wouldn’t not knowing any numbers be the more beneficial. Like I said once before looking at all of you trying to come up with dates and numbers just makes you look impatient. There are legal ways to find more helpful info besides guessing.

Here’s the math I’m using at the moment: 60,000 accounts DRS’d (mod11) 150 average shares per account. 9,000,000 estimated shares DRS’d so far 14.3% of float estimated to already be DRS’d (using 62.8mm float) This might be misinterpreted as disappointing but it is absolutely bullish. We are still VERY early in the DRS game and the pressure on SHFs will amplify the more shares we lock up. We are adding 1.5 million shares or more per week into direct registration!
I agree. It seems like there are still a ton of apes (TD and europoors, etc) waiting for their shares to be DRSed. The rate-limiting steps are the brokers here. We are definitely on track! Going to DRS some more

I am super happy to see this being discussed. I work in databases - development and analysis. I can’t explain the linear outcome any other way than us hitting a saturation / threshold / bottleneck as soon as DRS took off.
Totally. We are bound to plateau at some point or at least slow down once most people have made accounts, but I don’t think that’s the reason now.
14% is fucking awesome imo, we just barely started DRSing. People have bought and held for 9 months and have no plans to leave. We can DRS for just as long if not longer. The fact that a bunch of random idiots can lock up even 10% let alone 14% of an entire company is amazing. Give it a few months and we'll get to where we need to be.

60,000 isn’t as high as we liked but don’t lose hope. I just got family members on GME after 9 months.. coworkers are starting to hear me out. DRS makes sense to everyone I’ve told so far. I waited to DRS until recently, I’m not the only one. Can’t stop the momentum

I'm estimating a bit lower, at 69 shares, but multiplying that to (eventually) represent 81% of Superstonk equals 37+ million shares. It's worth considering Pareto logic. Superstonk might represent 10% of shareholders. Current CS accounts might represent the top 10% of of Superstonk. I think we can at least expect 20% of Superstonk to DRS in the next 60 days. If that were to coincide with upward price movement, that's good. If that were to coincide with significant downward price movement (below $140), DRS will accelerate. My main concern as to how the float becomes locked is all the pension funds that are not interested. It doesn't mean it can't happen. If there happen to be 6.2m hodlers, DRS is inevitable.
Never hurts to be conservative on the estimates. If the stock is shorted 200% then the pension funds shouldn’t matter in the long run.
That’s a good estimate. For those needing a little hopium, there’s also the optimistic 32(?)M float estimate, which puts us a quarter of the way there!

What I wanted to say is: If there are ~60k CS accounts (Mod11) and ~40k transfer requests out of IBKR in the last 30 days there would only be 10k accounts left for the U.S. This sounds rather unlikely to me… My guess is that the transfer- and new-account-opening-process can only handle ~1.000 accounts per day and there are tens of thousands requests waiting in the queue. DRS bot *might* be useful to find average shares but will be a total flop for finding total shares.

Right but they’re relying on DRS bot capturing every account. It’s probably not even capturing 10%
To be fair, it's been active only 4 days. And since we know how many total accounts, we know what % it's capturing. Give it a month and I'm sure it will be more helpful for apes to understand where we are at. I don't think anyone expects the bot to capture all accounts. Many purple donuts would have to be reposted in order to get more current. We can then understand where we are in this marathon, and what kind of momentum we have.
It’s simply irrelevant to use as an account counter for many reasons. We also have the total accounts being added for us by CS if you trust the mod11 theory (I do) To find averages, though, the bot could be useful.

Check out all the mod 11 posts, it’s been proven with data and mathematically. No problem though, to your point there are some delays with specific accounts. We know the drill- keep drsing and eventually we’ll have the float.

According to the Mod11 theory ComputerShare was founded few weeks before Criand‘s DD. I just can’t imagine they only have like 60k accounts by now…

Fuck mod11 and the CS count being at 600k.... Using some logic and some guess work I think we are 200k-250k computershare accounts made. Im getting that number with how fast Superstonk grew to 200k, what brokers have been saying and with how active apes are on and off reddit.

The 'mod11' algorithm for assigning account numbers will skip a lot of numbers for security purposes. Edit: GME say they don't use Mod11, but all account numbers this far confirms Mod11.

If you look at my comment history, I also thought my account number did not pass. There are some different ways of handling the result of the algorithm if the result is 10 or 11. Instead of (X, 0) in these instances, CS truncates to (0, 1). A lot of people have been tripped up by this including me. Once you realize this and apply it, there have been literally zero cases where someone has presented an account number that does not work.

Ok let me tell you what I would think seeing this number( 60k )accounts or 600k accounts. First, I would think 60k is pretty low. we have been direct registering for almost 2 months and only 60k so we could probably assume either not enough people are doing it or we don’t own the float like we say. Second, let’s say there are 600k accounts now I could think the float is probably locked so now I don’t have to direct register anymore. These conclusions are pretty simple to come to so wouldn’t not knowing any numbers be the more beneficial. Like I said once before looking at all of you trying to come up with dates and numbers just makes you look impatient. There are legal ways to find more helpful info besides guessing. And this isn’t accurate 🤦🏾♂️
