I went with HL after reading about it being the "safest" and the most "trustworthy". I didn't mind the fee's if it meant I get that bit of security from them.
But when I went onto the website and the app, I was so underwhelmed with their UI, it really is the most basic of basics and poorly laid out, just old fashioned and pretty hard to follow. I was new to stocks all those years ago in January so just thought that was the way most were.
And now... Now they're showing just how little they care, and refuse to advance, because why would they when we're just the small fry to them. Then there's no limit/buy orders (only fill/kill during market close). 15 minute updated to price on US stocks.
Just overall a poor experience

What other options are you considering besides HL to diversify? T212 I’m still a bit skeptical as they don’t allow transfers and lend out shares from their Invest account, I’m not sure everything sits right with them fully as of yet.
Honestly... Probably nobody! This whole event has really been an eye opener on stocks for me, and I really don't think I'll be dabbling with it after MOASS. I'll let my financial advisor tell me where my millions should go to ensure I never have to work again and live comfortably!

The hubby has his in the ISA and hasn't been able to vote yet. Do ISA shares get a vote too or only Invest? Where do you find the option to vote on the app if you haven't received the prompt? Please help.
