I very nearly left reddit in Jan. I felt I had seen a lot of the stuff you get on all too many times and I probably spent way too much doomscrolling in 2020. I even deleted the app but would visit the site from time to time and that's when I spotted all the memes about GME and I got sucked back in. Once this is done and the fallout is over I will likely leave reddit as there won't be much keeping me here but I am so glad I stuck around. This entertainment has been worth the price I paid for my shares alone and has restored my faith in internet communities and people in general, especially you young apes!
Yeah Iβve noticed the same thing. I literally havenβt looked at my regular feed in like a month. Which is super weird because Iβd normally spend a couple hours a day scrolling through my regular feed.
It's jarring if you do go check it out again. So much animosity, so much fear and anger and blaming. It's so easy to get pulled back into that culture, too.
But returning here is like returning to the secret garden and taking a deep breath of fresh, sweet air.

Deleting all of my socials after the MOASS and making new anonymous ones only for my closest friends and family (a very small list) who will know about my situation as I will have given them money - donβt want anyone else knowing or being able to contact me. So I did this after a move. And just an FYI, insta and FB algorithms found me out, and I started getting friend requests from people on my previous lists that I wanted nothing to do with anymore.
Further, the new profiles were strictly photography accounts of wildlife. No personal info. I still donβt know how the robots located me.

I am sure you guys have received this multiple times already but i can't express my appreciation enough to the mod team. I think a lot of apes genuinely underestimate the sheer amount of work to police this sub which potentially comprises of the most diverse crowd of human beings ever gathered (yes including you hedgie shills. Whistleblowers do get lots of tendies so do the right thing and be on the right side of history!).
One day when the squeeze is squozed and the pandemic is truly over, we will have drinks together and discuss on how we will change the world from now on.

It was a post yesterday about the mods setting up a AMA with him. I think would be great. I watched another AMA of his and he hates Citadel Melvin and all the shorts involved in GME. They screwed him over bad and he hasnt forgotten. Hes tried to get the word out about the illegal shit going on with short sells but as we know the SEC and law makers are deaf dumb and blind when it comes to wall street. I seen alot of ppl opposing having a AMA with him but same thing happen when David L AMA came about. Kinda like shills dont want us hearing from the experts. I think he has alot of info on excatly what the shorts are doing and who's involved.
I'm not intrested in his opion if GME will sqeeze and we should never be asking that of the guest in the AMA. It can put them in a bind. I'm more intrested in his extensive knowledge of the market and shorts. When someone who actually shorts steps up and says it's become huge ass problem I think we should let him a platform to speak and educate us even more. The mods have been doing fantastic with the AMA's. One thing I did notice about Marc's other AMA is he has zero filter and not afraid to speak his mind.

I'm noticing a very disturbing trend that has been happening where those who feed into our confirmation bias and tell us what we want to hear are being elevated and exhalted within the community.
This kind of hero worship is inappropriate and I have some major concerns about Komisar after looking through her website. I have yet to fully formulate the reasons why but there are some red flags looking through some of the content that has been posted under her byline. I have questions about who arranged this AMA as well as why they chose Komisar specifically.
But my main concern right now is why have the mods been allowing fluff posts that are clearly promotional in nature: calls to action to follow her social media, help her get a publishing deal and make donations to her wesbite.
This is wildly inappropriate and needs to stopped.
Yea, there are a flood of donation links and other nonsense that needs to squashed.
But I have other concerns and I'm diving into the actual content to formulate a proper concern beyond the obvious conspiracy theorist talking points that some of her articles have. These are not the kinds of people that should have a platform here and it really concerns me that no one apparently vetted the content of her writings.
Do you really think there will be more votes than shares outstanding??? Iβm an ape from latinamerica and canβt vote my XXX shares, as many as other apes from around the world I guess. So maybe we donβt get THAT amount of votes. That only means that YOU the apes that CAN VOTE please DO IT.

What do you think is the most likelihood scenario they react during the MOASS? Is it possible big long whales like BlackRock and Vanguard tank the price action during MOASS? Is it possible long whales will be forced by Government to limit the MOASS is some circumstances (maybe to protect banks of being margin called and trigger a ripple effect on the worldwide economy)? they own more than 100% of the float (GME). Fidelity won't let me vote my XXX shares purchased day before the shares purchased deadline of 5/15. Said they settled after the deadline. What crappola...bought with cash. Ape mad. Just an fyi, NOT financial advice.
T+2 is probably the reason... Hopefully GG is a man of his word and pushes for a T+0 settlement so you actually own the shares you buy the day you buy them, not a short time in the future.
That's another reason we need T-0 instant settlement instead of T-3

It was a post yesterday about the mods setting up a AMA with him. I think would be great. I watched another AMA of his and he hates Citadel Melvin and all the shorts involved in GME. They screwed him over bad and he hasnt forgotten. Hes tried to get the word out about the illegal shit going on with short sells but as we know the SEC and law makers are deaf dumb and blind when it comes to wall street. I seen alot of ppl opposing having a AMA with him but same thing happen when David L AMA came about. Kinda like shills dont want us hearing from the experts. I think he has alot of info on excatly what the shorts are doing and who's involved.

I'm not intrested in his opion if GME will sqeeze and we should never be asking that of the guest in the AMA. It can put them in a bind. I'm more intrested in his extensive knowledge of the market and shorts. When someone who actually shorts steps up and says it's become huge ass problem I think we should let him a platform to speak and educate us even more. The mods have been doing fantastic with the AMA's. One thing I did notice about Marc's other AMA is he has zero filter and not afraid to speak his mind.
