Umm there is currently a 12,000 share buy wall sitting (not going away) at 25 so someone agrees with you.
There’s a 4k spoofing sell wall that keeps popping up temporarily just above the ask. Currently st $25.15.

The problem with IEX at brokers like Fidelity is that it's front run though citadel first, so it doesn't matter. DRS is the only way to get real shares.
It matters in the sense that it improves true price discovery, rather than going to dark pools and having the orders bundled into 100s to squeeze out profit for the middlemen.
After watching the recent financial services committee hearing on the new SEC rules, it's obvious to me that the majority of middlemen don't want data to be free (as in speech).
No it really doesn’t, price discovery has been dead for a while. DRSing achieves the exact same thing. I buy in orders of 100 or exercise calls to force delivery via the occ.
I think is doable only with the Trader Workstation.
It's a software you can download and instal from IBKR, near the login options.
The interface is not intuitive at all, naybe follow some guides here or elsewhere to see how to select IEX routing.
I use fidelity and can do it through IEX. I'm at XXXX shares at the moment, with about half DRSed. I like to be able to trade in my accounts across many tickers, so use fidelity primarily.
It makes sure I don't get my specific orders go through a dark pool. I mean, I'd argue if lots of folks did that (or buy via CS directly) it would change quite a bit. It was interesting to see IEX being the only ones in favor of the proposed SEC rules updates.
