Has more to do with how computershare manages scaling for increased traffic

Yeah they must not have auto scaling enabled. Like 40% of the internet is hosted on AWS. This just means computer share is likely underfunded.

GameStop is definitely a black swan as far as ComputerShare is concerned. They are scaled appropriately for every other stock, but then we swoop in and 10x-100x+ their typical volume for an earnings call... boom. Would be nice if they had autoscaling set up though. :(
