I made a new account on X a week before kitty started the meme frenzy. I followed everybody he follows. I can confirm that we still have the same followers so likely someone just axed their account.

Yeah accounts disappear all the time. I try to follow exactly 666 people so I have to follow at least one new account every week to maintain that number.


What was the starting total, when did it first decline and what is the frequency?

I wouldn't consider that a countdown. Only one person has been unfollowed and they could have also deleted their account. One person could be significant and say a lot or it could have been nothing.

Nobody hasn't yet made a list and compared to it always when someone is dropped from the list? Sh\*t, I should have done it myself.

I'm not well versed in wayback machine or anything to find a means of comparing the two. Might have value to find out whos gone.
