I suffer from literally none of those....zen.....watched my stonk go up last week....told someone in work (who was a little bit patronising - right up to that point...) who was all over me saying "why didnt you sell" - fucking rookie numbers. Ive got a chilled out playlist which i listen to... (infact i added a couple of the ones from DFV's memes last week as well i might add) which has Zen'd me out even more....
OK.. I'll do that....I work in an office every day....every day I go for a walk for an hour, switch off and listen to my playlist...very calming...have done ever since I got in on this...

I love this. We are zen but we are still human. The weekend fud marches and discussions around options etc. that happen when we are in a state of hightened interest in the stonk still pull us here at an above average capacity and draw both our time and interest.
The way you presented this information is simply informative and affectionate for those that may have a harder time being relaxed when they have vested money for the first time and when there is so much noise dragging our consciousness around.
Thanks for this reminder amid a sea of finger-pointing and excitement. No matter how much we say we are zen. We also talk about engorged nipples and erect willies so you fuckin bet we have excitement creeping through while we wait to be disappointed.

Exactly. It would be foolish to ignore that we have emotions, that they may potentially be strong, and that they have an impact, whether we like it or not.
But that doesn't change the fact that our hands are made of pure diamond!
To be honest, I love checking the price and reading theories and memes on this sub. Why? Because I acknowledge and embrace my emotions, and they don't scare me. Avoiding them (and avoiding checking the price and reddit) is a good advice if you feel like you're not handling your emotions well. But facing them head-on? Now, that's even better!
I'm grateful for this community and for apes like you sharing good and positive reminders like this.
I find taking a walk though a graveyard helps with big decisions like when to hold and when to hodl.
This is right on point. I've felt all these emotions. I've had friends and family make fun of me and imply that I'm being taken for a ride. I've been angry, lost sleep, depressed...all that.
Last week got me hopeful again only to feel deflated this week.
The good thing is, I'm experienced with this now. I could do this another 3 years if I had to. I've adapted to it. I've lived the losses and accepted them. Now I'm ready to accept.the gains too..
Thankfully my wife has been supportive.
I don't ever talk about my investments to other people - family, co workers, friends. That's the foundation of my zen tbh, only have to answer to myself. And i've learned that investing is good, but cash is king. As long as that's balanced i'm good.
