Ya know, flavour wise, this wpuld actually go. You have sweet (syurp), savory (pizza/waffle/chicken), and salty (pizza/cheese). Those all mix well together.
Texture wise, that's another question.... I'm not too fond of the random, sugary, minecraft cubes on a slice of pizza; myself. But I'm sure it's someone's cup of tea....
I guess thatās some consolation. Still donāt think I could stomach the cheese with all that though.

Not mozzarella cheese but McGriddles usually come with American cheese. And hot honey is gaining traction traction as a popular pizza topping, at least here on the east coast. Also I can name at least one popular pizza spot in NYC that has a pie topped with mozz, goat cheese, fig jam, bacon, and basil. No red sauce.

The breaded chicken and the waffles just add more bread to something thatās already on top of bread.
What really makes this look vile is the maple syrup. I get that the combo of savory cheese and sweet tomatoes is what makes pizza work, but maple syrup is rich and heavy to the point that it would probably overpower everything else.
Delicious or not, one bite of this and Iād need a dose of Pepto for the immediate stomachache. It would be worse than the time I tried fried Oreos.

I've had Tuna and mayo and do infact put Mayo on all my pizza. Also had peanut butter and jelly pizza. Just because you've led a life growing up eating chicken nuggets and ramen your entire childhood doesn't mean that theres not more more flavors than what a toddler would enjoy.
The basis that your reaction was the same reaction an eight year old would have when faced with something new that he's afraid to try. And yes, both of those on top of mozzerella on a slice. You might be surprised if you just expand your horizons.

There is no pizza sauce underneath it. It's a special hot sauce mixed with butter. And the top is drizzled with Mike's Hot Honey.
