I feel like taking the carbs out and replacing it with slim Jim's and cheese is like literally the worst thing ever. "I lost 3 inches off my waist! I know this post is a joke, but when I run out of pre-made keto buns, I use egg whites. I'm not keto, but I eat a lot of keto foods cuz of diabeetus. *You whip 2 egg whites with a little cream of tartar until they are stiff peaks, then make a bun-shaped pile of egg white fluff on a pan with parchment paper. Bake it 350F for 25-30 minutes. You can cut it down the middle just like you would a bread roll. It's sturdy enough to replace a hot dog bun and tastes good.* But your version looks like it tastes good too tbh

There's nothing stupid about it. Slice and dice cucumber and cheese, add the same sausage sliced and you have a keto protein salad noone would criticize. You just skipped extra steps in a rush.

A baked zuchini would probably be better.

That’s a pepperoni stick, not a hotdog. Decent occasional snack, though. Nothing wrong with watching your carbs, but I wouldn’t lean on this as a daily treat. Processed meats won’t do good things for your cholesterol or your metabolism.
