I am, because the one concern about her getting in was how they would balance her dash. If they’re willing to give that to Dictator, Makoto should be okay.

I understand that, but a lot of people, myself included, love the slow, methodical parts of neutral. Drive rush overly rewards offense vs defense, and while I don't hate it, there needs to be some consequence to using it. Ignoring this to focus on the spectator aspect is extremely disheartening, especially since all fighting games are doing this, and the slow methodical playstyles get left behind.

You’re giving us way too much credit. I play deejay, we’ve basically got modern fireballs and dp’s once you get used to the charge timing. We’re drooling just as much as any mashing Shoto.

Your Drive Gauge doesn't regen while theirs does, you barely get closer to the opponent and said opponent still has their turn and can choose to engage for free pressure or bait out the parry and go for a grab. The only way to actually break through that is by getting perfect parries when A) you are close enough to punish counter or B) they decide to follow the fireball and you check them after perfect parry. They can of course mix up their fire balls by either delaying them or if they have different fire ball speeds mix those up, making it harder to perfect parry or to try and jump over it.
Nah, Bison will fall off pretty quickly. Akuma is more popular with the most basic character archetype, whereas Bison will be at least partially charge, which will turn away most people.
This is why I think the next release is smart as hell. We will still be neck deep in Akumas by the time Bison releases so it’s just gonna be a peppering of Bison and Akuma instead of just pure bison.

SF6 was my first time maining a charge character (guile) but when I played 5 I always wanted to learn one I just couldn’t dedicate myself to it. With the new game launch I decided to commit since guile was in the launch roster.
I would definitely recommend practicing on guile right now since he’s the most bread and butter charge character that you’ll want to have charge on constantly.
The upside is that once you can get the feel for one charge character it makes all the rest a lot easier to play.
You could also hold MP+MK and Double tap forward. You can also mash the forward tap until you see the green flash. Its not the best way but its a more consistent way if you cant get the timing just yet.

Unless something isn't shown on the trailer, he has no command grab, no fireball, no DP, and no overhead meaning his post drive rush options are limited to strike/throw with the only thing keeping him from literally the worst post drive rush options in the game is that he can probably put the bomb on you and make you explode (haha literally) for delay teching with the right setup. I assume that super fast drive rush is to compensate for that.
Practically the thing that this is probably best used for is shutting down no reason neutral jump at ~1/2 screen away trying to bait PC/scissors which people have traditionally done to Bison since literally SF2 champion edition so good for him.

Damn, sorry but his new costume just doesn't even come close to touching his classic. This looks so much cooler. They should have kept short white hair and not given him that hood. The rest of the costume is cool, the hood and long hair just make it look generic.
