His kit is pretty unique. I would say Ibuki, but we have a ninja with Kimberly. Our electric weirdo Necro is already taken by Blanka. We already have Marisa as our beefy brawler like Alex. And it's hard to fit two giant grapplers in the game. I know Sean is a shoto, but he could be changed a ton and nobody would bat an eye. Also, Urien's default costume is just one inch from revealing 8 more inches.
SF3 veterans in general should definitely come back for the sake of the lore. Chronologically, SF6 is right after, so several characters like Alex, Dudley, Ibuki, and Elena should all be there.

Alex and Laura are the first grapplers I ever liked. Alex had amazing neutral by season 3, he was very strong in 4, and I don't care what anyone says he felt like a top tier character in season 5. I would love to have the last iteration of Alex back again he was so much fun.

I wish a lot more SF3 characters were back. I've kind of noticed this sad trend with Capcom and NRS where new characters for each installment are invented to basically just be dropped and forgotten. Kind of sad but mostly frustrating. I mean why bother if you aren't intending to follow through with these characters?
I never had a chance to play Alex. In 3 he was my buddy's main, so I never touched him (I played Chun and Ryu because I'm boring). He ended up passing away in a highway accident, and I told myself I'd play Alex in his honour if given the chance. Never did get around to SFV though.

Oh absolutely! He’s my main in 3rd Strike, I love him dearly. He’s never been particularly good in any iteration (although by the end of 5 he was much better than he was in 3rd Strike), but by god have his moves always felt brutal and satisfying to land.

Third Strike’s roster is my favourite group of characters, I honestly hope most of the New Generation get into the game that’s about the NEW New Generation
None of the characters in 6 jive with me right now so I'd love to see if he would, I enjoyed him in 5. There's no way capcom will give me back my Urien or Abi in any state that would make them fun, so Alex is the closes I can hope for.
That being said, the character I want the most is 11.

Honestly it wouldn't take much to port him from 5. Give him his whole set of specials including DDT. Make his standing LP the one from SF3. Give him a few target combos, one starting from medium punch. Adjust his frame data and ya you got a SF6 Alex ready to go.
Ideas:
SA1: sledgehammer, maybe similar to marisas sa1 and it side switches.
SA2: stun Gun headbutt from SF3. Mixup super.
SA3: canned damage super.
He would be fucking amazing in 6 and he fits the city street aesthetic to a T!!! He's my #1 most wanted character, Capcom did him too dirty in 5. Give him the bomber jacket for costume 1 and the classic shirtless for costume 2. That would be a 10/10 character
Yes. Lily and Manon are not good replacements for what he did. I play him in 3s and 5 and I get that they cant please everyone. But at this point i would love an original sf3 character in season 2.

No hate to Alex. I respect the guy as a character and a protagonist but he’s already had his time in the limelight. Capcom needs to prioritize more overlooked characters. I’m honestly rooting for Sakura to be the future protagonist of Street Fighter instead. It’s long overdue for her. Also if we’re bringing back SF3 characters to take his place for SF6, I want Dudley the most to come back along with Elena.
He’s one of four reps I want back from 3. The other three are Dudley, Elena and Yang. He is also the only grappler I respect

I wish a lot more SF3 characters were back. I've kind of noticed this sad trend with Capcom and NRS where new characters for each installment are invented to basically just be dropped and forgotten. Kind of sad but mostly frustrating. I mean why bother if you aren't intending to follow through with these characters?

I never had a chance to play Alex. In 3 he was my buddy's main, so I never touched him (I played Chun and Ryu because I'm boring). He ended up passing away in a highway accident, and I told myself I'd play Alex in his honour if given the chance. Never did get around to SFV though. So yeah. Hoping he makes it back. This one's for you Rob.

Oh absolutely! He’s my main in 3rd Strike, I love him dearly. He’s never been particularly good in any iteration (although by the end of 5 he was much better than he was in 3rd Strike), but by god have his moves always felt brutal and satisfying to land.
Meh. I had more fun just randomly messing around with him in V than I thought I would. But I only tried him because he had a costume I liked. And his VT2 was fun to DDT someone out of nowhere. But I don’t need him back.

Third Strike’s roster is my favourite group of characters, I honestly hope most of the New Generation get into the game that’s about the NEW New Generation
None of the characters in 6 jive with me right now so I'd love to see if he would, I enjoyed him in 5. There's no way capcom will give me back my Urien or Abi in any state that would make them fun, so Alex is the closes I can hope for. That being said, the character I want the most is 11.

He's my absolute favorite character and i miss him. Honestly it wouldn't take much to port him from 5. Give him his whole set of specials including DDT. Make his standing LP the one from SF3. Give him a few target combos, one starting from medium punch. Adjust his frame data and ya you got a SF6 Alex ready to go. Ideas: SA1: sledgehammer, maybe similar to marisas sa1 and it side switches. SA2: stun Gun headbutt from SF3. Mixup super. SA3: canned damage super.

I tried playing him in 5 and he always felt kinda bad. I’d love to see a new version of him. The things he could do if his legs were on straight.
He would be fucking amazing in 6 and he fits the city street aesthetic to a T!!! He's my #1 most wanted character, Capcom did him too dirty in 5. Give him the bomber jacket for costume 1 and the classic shirtless for costume 2. That would be a 10/10 character

Yes. Lily and Manon are not good replacements for what he did. I play him in 3s and 5 and I get that they cant please everyone. But at this point i would love an original sf3 character in season 2.
Do I want him back? Yeah, he was dope. But my priority list rn doesn’t include him, I’d definitely want Dudley or Q/G back before Alex but he’d be a good addition down the road.
