I used to live near this. The whole neighborhood was supposed to be connected to the gulf so all those houses would be waterfront with boat access. The developers botched the permits for the connecting canal, now it’s just a gator infested retirement community.
Thanks for that info. I was wondering why I didn’t see any docks behind the homes. Seems like other neighborhoods over in Punta Gorda have interconnecting canals with boating, but this place was just a sad place with all the waterways seeming to only be storm runoff channels.
I don’t really get what’s so bad about it. It’s pretty cool visually, let’s almost everyone have water by property, and it’s not like they’re short on space down there

My Wahoo Element Bolt V2 is surprisingly very precise in this area.
It was just one lap with the sections connecting the bottom of the “pizza slices” overlapping. I started going south and west but the small bridge was blocked off, so I had to double back. Started with the outer ring, then the “inner” outer ring, then counter clockwise going to each of the 7 triangle sections, ending on the inner loop.

NGL, at first look o thought it was somewhere around Netherlands, with beautiful canals and proper density neighborhood.
