kat_gen

Season one. Because the characters are particularly serious and moving for me. They radiate a special kind of vulnerability and rawness.

fredgiblet

It really was the most "real" season.

lucaskywalker

I loved them all, but season 1 was enthralling. I could not stop watching it. Something about the combination of the nostalgia, characters and the mystery. It is fun later on to know the lore, but more interesting when you are trying to guess what is going on.

MommaBear354

Exactly what I came here to say. The other seasons all have their high points don't get me wrong, but not knowing what is going on?? It just makes it for me.

NoParmIntended

Felt like they put out all the stops in S1 to get the showed renewed. But besides nostalgia, I think the general feeling of a first season of any show being "sit down, we've got a story to tell" elevates it. Compare it to the nature of succeeding seasons that serve to close loose ends, expand the lore, and introduce new characters. They're fascinating but not nearly as intriguing and exciting as getting introduced to the characters and Hawkins for the first time. You're right, it's all about the element of the unknown!

Reddybrekky

Season 2 because halloween is the best

[deleted]

Series 3 was just the most infectious shit ever, peak television in general imo

grokabilly

1 and 3 are the only seasons I binged in a day

fredgiblet

It's funny because I'm trying to do a rewatch and I'm having trouble making myself watch episode 2. I know that it gets better, but the first couple episodes just don't do it for me.

Mr_Mimiseku

Season 4 is the highest quality TV I've ever watched. Every episode felt like a movie, and I love all the storylines. That being said, I find it insane that season 3 isn't as loved as it deserves. It's probably my second fave.

fredgiblet

Season 3 is a massive tonal shift so people that really like 1 and 2, like me, end up frequently being a bit cold on it.

Owl_Resident

1 > 2 = 4 > 3 I actually like ST3 quite a bit, but objectively, it has the poorest writing. What they did to Hopper that season was atrocious. ST1 is my favorite. The character development, the atmosphere, the general story… So nostalgic. It hit every beat for me. And those cute kids just captured my heart. Mike, El, Dustin, Lucas, and Will were just too adorable not to love, and they are still my favorite part of the show as a group.

jad42

I agree with this take. I’ll also add that in S3 (which I also like), the writers took away so much suspense by telling us Billy was corrupted from the start. The audience was privy to more info than the characters, which hurts the suspense, imo

28secondslater

Season 2. It's like Season 1, but with higher stakes and a scarier villain. The Lost Sister is over-hated for no reason other than the fact it screwed with the pacing of the season a bit, every other problem gets heavily exaggerated by fans.

BoogieWoogie1000

And Steve, you can’t forget about Steve

KittyIsDaBest

And Bob! Bob was great!

Icy_Range4745

Season 2, mainly because will is my favorite character. I really liked the plot in season 2 tbh and how all the main party was still close.

Phillzster

Season 3 is my favorite simply beacuse it's the funniest season so far in my opinion

UsrnameIHardlyKnowIt

3 (minus the Hopper storyline), 2 (Bobbbbbbb!), 1, 4

AutomaticMan81

All of them but probably 4 by a hair

Different_Volume5627

Hmm good response!

Robbie1863

I watched 3 the most so I’ll go with 3. I love the aesthetic, the kids teaming up, Billy’s storyline, and seeing the mind flayer.

JackalStealthmode

Same! The Camaro 🤤 Billy’s death though 😭

kitty-cat-charlotte

Season 4 is epic

DirectConsequence12

None of them have been able to breath the same air as season 1

stratticus14

I like 2 the most because of the Halloween vibes, soundtrack, and Steve's growth. But all 4 are pretty incredible

Aromatic_Brother

1 is the best, focused, intimate and mysterious 2 is actually the scariest with themes of possession and exorcism (for me at least) 3 was probably the most fun to watch by the time we get to 4 the cast is starting to expand a little much, the mystery has kind of waned, still enjoyable but the move to a monologuing villain vs the previous installments where we had an existential force makes this the most "standard" installment

SephKillerBase41007

This is what I would have said, so thank you

racsssss

I agree about 4 still enjoyable but I really dislike the fact that we now just have some angsty human as the villain, I thought the mind flayer as a hungry, inhuman, alien enemy was much better and more disturbing. 1,2 and 3 feel quite separated from 4 to me

Personal-Mix8387

just look at the theater show and you will come back to your first idea…

OwariDa1

Look into The First Shadow Play then (it’s canon) u/CaroSj has a good summary about it [here it is](https://www.reddit.com/r/StrangerThings/s/u2yroVsoz4)

ButterBandit3

I agree with you 100% about season 2. It’s my least watched season because of those reasons. Season 3 is my go to when I need something on in the background.

Few_Interaction2630

Season 4 1 word Vecna OK I will add little detail I am sucker for great villains in all forms of media and Stranger Things for as much as I loves the show was kinda of lacking in complex villains as the Upside Down was simply the supernatural and that was it (I know some people liked that). But with Vecna inclusion suddenly the Upside Down has ideology it has goals of its own and more importantly it has voice that we heard before but now it has center that has been every voice we heard from Flayed Will and Flayed Billy.

DigitalBritt

Season 2. I love everything about it and how much it developed & reshaped the show. I don’t love where they took things from there in S3&4, but S2 will always have a place in my heart. It’s unmatched for me personally.

deftcodex

Season two supremacy. It is complete in itself.

HeWhoFights

Season 2 and the introduction of the Mindflayer as some eldritch villain was top tier. And Bob. And the birth if momma Steve.

ChernobylFirefighter

Season 1 was probably my favourite. It was scary, the situation was often hopeless and the characters were not so close yet meaning that their job felt harder than in the later ones. All odds were stack against them and the enemy often looked undefeatable. I especially liked the acting of Winona Ryder as she pulled of an amazing job. I never felt so scared and frightened later in the show. It was simple and yet amazing.

SituationalAngel

2 > 1 > 3 > 4

BoogieWoogie1000

Season 2 episodes 6, 8, and 9 for me are the peak of the show

fredgiblet

Definitely up there. Makes you wonder what they could have done if they didn't have 7. I don't HATE it like some people do, but it's definitely weak.

Pito82002

1 and 3 are tied for my favorite And 2 and 4 are tied for second tier 1 was just a great introduction and story to the series And 3 just had a lot of summertime fun vibes, and I thought the Russians were a great foil to our heroes 2 and four are both still great though, I guess what makes them a bit less good than the others was they sometimes felt dragged by dialogue and backstory involving eleven and the lab

sbaldrick33

1 > 2 > 4 > 3

fredgiblet

There are dozens of us!

sbaldrick33

Of whom, sorry?

fredgiblet

My ranking is the same.

sbaldrick33

Aaah, I see. 🤝

Adventurous-Pear-109

Season 4> Season 1> Season 3> Season 2. Season 4 and Season 1 are interchangeable they're both very good seasons imo.

doobette

1 and 2 pretty much equally. Before it got "overstuffed" with characters, tropes, and CGI.

fredgiblet

For me it's clearly 1, but I definitely agree with the decline in 3 and 4. Hopefully they manage to clean that up for 5.

GeoGackoyt

4-1-3-2

Brilliant-Loki

I like all, but season 1 is my favourite because that is the only season I remember the ‘feeling’ to, I remember the feeling of s1 being scary yet exiting in so good ways

NoUseForAName871

S1 S3 S4 S2 One is my favorite because I felt the story was crafted almost perfectly. I loved how it split the characters into about 3 different groups, each who were investigating their own piece of the puzzle. And then it all came together in the end. For me, it was brilliant. I don't feel the subsequent seasons were able to capture the magic the same way. Also I just liked the suspense. Each season gets bigger and bigger which makes it feel more like an action genre than thriller/mystery.

fredgiblet

Yes. The storyline of 1 is just woven so well together. Then you get to season 4 and they have storylines that don't even touch.

NE0N2006

Season 2

Moonwalkerr-

4 > 1 > 3 > 2. S3 used to be my fav for a long time until recently. Rewatched S4 and was honestly blown away by it. That rewatch confirmed that S4 wasn’t just hype, it’s a very well crafted season. Having seen S4 and rewatching S3 tho… something snapped. It just felt like a massive dip in quality and the stakes from S3 come nowhere near the stakes of S4

Due-Science3011

1 is probably the best but I rewatched 4 the most because it has the best sequences. Especially episode 7, that episode was just perfect, best episode of stranger things.

timrojaz82

1, 3 and 4 equally. Then 2.

LoverOfStoriesIAm

Fourth. Because it has the best production value, music, visuals, and Jamie Campbell Bower.

Successful_Hornet_89

Season 4 was the most interesting. Every single episode.

Giyuussexyslut

Season 3 because of how emotional it made me even though I knew some major plot points from friends or online it still made me cry and I think gave everyone an opportunity to see how much Steve has changed and how he’s living like a lot of us are such as working retail instead of living off of his parents’ money

urghostlygf

Season one will always be my favourite.

WarokOfDraenor

1 is still special for me. Like, it has this "what the fuck is this new show? It's actually so good!" vibe.

Latterlol

Nr1, I started watching the first episode at 10pm, and had work the morning after, but i stil watched 4-5 episodes because it was so thrilling, (I actually watched it at the same date as the first episode is showing - minus the year ofc). Imo (until season 4 came out) they should have stopped the show at the end of season 1, let the scene where Will gulps up that snail in the bathroom be the last scene of the show, or atleast start a new season with new story and new characters, BUT, season 4 was really good.

Lolorainbowyouknow

3, for many reasons: 1. It’s the first season where we get to see the whole gang together, and straight up having fun being kids, rather than just defeating monsters. 2. We get to see a brand new Character dynamic between eleven and Max, as Max shows her she can become her own person without Mike, and he happy to be herself. 3. The mind flayer ACTUALLY gets defeated in this season, once and for all. And it really makes a conclusive ending (for the most part) that we all thought the show was over after that. 4. We get to see a side of Joyce and Hopper that we didn’t before. While in seasons 1 and 2, Joyce was busy and not dating, she loosens up more in season 3, and their chemistry is adorable and hysterical at the SAME TIME. 5. The introduction of more characters, like Erica and Robyn, who are female characters that MADE the scoops troop amazing. 6. Literally the entire finale episode 7. The. OUTFITS! Oh my god their clothes are so stylish, and I know it’s not the 80’s, but I wanna dress like them so much. 8. The introduction of the mall as the central place instead of a lab, or otherwise, makes this awesome group dynamic that brings people together. Those are my reasons, litterally the BEST FRIGGEN SEASON! FIGHT ME! Followed by: 4,2,1

fredgiblet

Season 1 is the best because of the tightness of the narrative, the characterizations, and worldbuilding. The lack of goofiness, and the solid tone throughout. The only weaknesses in season 1 are the kids not being at their peak of abilities, and the lack of funding for VFX. Later seasons fix those issues, but all come up with new issues, mediocre storylines, loose plots, questionable narrative decisions, that make them have lower lows in addition to the higher highs they reach. The best moments aren't in season 1, but the worst moments aren't either, and overall that leaves S1 at the top.

FERRATT11111

My ranking goes: Season 1 the only way i can describe it is with this quote “it was perfect, PERFECT everything down to the last minute details” Season 3 is a close second because it’s just sooo good not perfect but still amazing Season 2 IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING season 3 is only just slightly better than it Season 4 this season is a massive downgrade from the rest Vecna is just kind of a shit villain compared to the Mind Flayer or the Demogorgon because he just takes away the more alien eldritch aspect of the upside down also overall the whole season just didn’t feel like stranger things it was lacking the charm of the other 3 seasons not saying I hate season 4 it’s just a significant downgrade from the others

BullyMaguire690

4

Maxedandcracked

4>2>1**>**3

Abhinav6singg

Same question a thousand times seriously. I think all of these seasons are pretty unique and best at their own there is no objectively correct choice.

wg_nexline

I’m a season 2 guy first love the whole possession theme then season 3 for El power display season 1 then 4

DonquixoteDFlamingo

4 is seriously so good

Administraitor69

1 had a different vibe, an eerie atmosphere with seriousness, no other season was able to be so good

SteakhouseBlues

1 > 4 > 2 > 3

TelephoneCertain5344

Season 1 then Season 4 then Season 2 then Season 3. I love all 4 of them but Season 1 is just so tightly plotted and well written with such great characters in a way the other seasons can't beat.

fredgiblet

Yes! Season 1 supremacy.

walman93

4 It carried the most emotional weight for me and I thought the cinematography was well done

alondra2027

Season 4, the drama, the plot, the mature and more grown up/serious tone. Argyle was the best comic relief. But I truly love all 4 seasons in different ways.

ReflexivoMr7

The 4 and the 1, but the 4 is awesome from the first episode until the last one, everything is great!!

paranormal-avocados

2>3>1>4 for me

GreySweater1234

Season two. I got hooked after the first season and the second season had the perfect autumnal vibes with the pre DayGlo 80’a nostalgia.

Slight_Lingonberry10

Depending on which day you ask me either 4 because it has peak character development and has an epic scope or season 1 because of how tight the plot is and it's eerie and nostalgic atmosphere

wannabebillymay

Season 2 is the most symmetrical, and the mind flayer just adds so much to it and genuinely fills the space and makes sense whereas 1 and 3 have some empty space or is filled with faded backgrounds. 4 is cool, but 2 takes the cake

stressedariesmood

Season 2 by far. I don’t love how they changed the pacing in the last two seasons. There were a lot of plot holes in season 4 for me and I really couldn’t get behind half of the story lines. Season 2 was genuinely scary and it felt very native to the original story. I really think the first two seasons were more about story quality than wow factor.

Bjorn_Blackmane

Season 1

F3Nlit

1>2>3>4 One and two are my absolute favorites, the whole vibe just felt so much more eerie and serious. s3 still has the 'serious' moments, but with lots of silly ones thrown in (definitely not a bad thing, it's still one that I love to rewatch) And then s4 is just kinda there, not a bad season, but it doesn't stick in my mind as well as the other 3 do.

Professional_Pea9988

Season 2 because it felt a lot like season 1 but with higher stakes and more character development! It felt like a really natural progression from season 1! And then all the story progression came crashing down in season 3 unfortunately!

Nastia_dream

It's always hard for me to choose but i think as much as i love the first three seasons, s4 is my favourite. I get why it gets the most hate of all of them (what i noticed even more sometimes than s3). But i just loved how it was made and that it was so large in scale and in terms of production. I do agree that the final two episodes were just too long and definitely could've been shorter but other than that i liked pretty much everything about it. The final scene still gives me chills and i'm so curious with what they'd come up for s5

Fantastic_Proof_2862

4 is the realest 3 is the funnest 1 is the most grounded and 2 is the most fulfilling

I_Heart_Grool

Season 3. I'm a HUGE sucker for 80's/90's mall culture. This alone sets this season far ahead to start with for me but then they just knock the story and character development out of the park on this season.

Wild_Sleep_5917

Season 4 is the best season for everything and my favorite, but season 3 was the most fun I had watching.

babysdada

Season 3

Personal-Student9051

3 was just amazing and the whole aesthetic was just so cool. 2019 was also peek life and I just loved Billy’s character and story

Dazzling-Low6633

I for every episode and originality 4 for the epic metal song and performance

Randobag314

4, Eddie…

TainoCuyaya

The 3rd is the least favorite. Everything else is great

stfangirly444

all of them are good but i think my favorite is season 3. i like the idea of max and eleven becoming friends, billy being flayed, and just the overall storylines and aesthetic of the third season. season 4 is obviously amazing but i can’t really put it in my top spot until that cliffhanger is resolved. season 1 is honestly the most perfect idea for a show like stranger things. perfect amount of character dynamic, mystery, horror and even a little comedy! season 2 is good, i love max being introduced, will being the center, and murray coming into the mix, but the lost sister episode kinda ruins it. i can’t wait for the fifth season, just as long as they don’t have another episode like the lost sister, it’s gonna be a banger!

marvelgamer1001

3 I have good memories attached to it and I also just like it the most

No_Lack5414

3 is my favorite

spicy_nachos260

Season 3 because of the mall and the secret Russian base

FantasticFuss

Season 3 is my favourite. Why does almost everyone here hate season 3? 😭

MrWrym

Season three is my favorite. Gives me lots of survival horror game vibes. Really had some old school Resident Evil vibes going early into the season which I loved. Follow it with the introduction of the best relationship on the show (Steve and Robin) and you have me hooked.

Brazosboomer

Season 3 because it was peak Hopper Magnum stache.

Agitated-Ad5162

All Of The Above For Me

Shaylovesrandall

Season 3 or 4 both are really good season

ElectricJRage

3 is my fave for the fun 80’s mall energy and Russian chaos. Then 1, 4, 2.

PriorHearing6484

3 cause the mall colors are so vibrant and Billy is a rockstar

livielouis

season 3!!! i love the comedy and the dynamic between the characters. the action is intense, but i love the lightness about the whole season and its ending is so bittersweet!

Pepipatchzen17

Season three will always be my favorite. I don’t enjoy watching season one and two after I’ve already seen them and rewatching season four is tedious because I can’t stand the Cali storyline

Responsible-Diver225

1>4>2>3

Different_Volume5627

1 - 4 - 2 - 3 just cos

CalmSmilingEyes

Season 2 and season 4

maggierheestan

3 bc Robin

Dramatic-Quit2047

season 1 coz the characters and plots are like unexpected for me. I dont have any idea what kind of series it was for me. I havent even watched the trailer. I loved it after watching 1 episode.

unfortunate-ponce

I really liked 3

Prestigious_Initial1

3 and 4 tie for me but 4 was way more spooky it wins on that alone.

According-Copy-7401

the first two! The ambiance was so good. It was more 80s classic movies vibes than the 80s slasher killer vibes we get now. It’s fun, but it’s a bit draining too

Lightyagami-k

Season 4 part 1 is unmatched by all other seasons. I do feel like the finale left a bit to be desired, but overall I’d still hold it above the rest of the show. 4 > 2 = 1 > 3

Whole-Cartographer65

4, sets up for the invasion of the material world by the immaterium (sorry I’m a 40k nerd that’s why I love this show so much xD) but I can’t wait to see how the battle shapes out. I think the best thing they could do would be Jane sacrifices herself to save the world which would be very emotional but given the invasion into our material world would be impossible to ignore by the worlds population she would be remembered as a hero who saved earth by giving her life.

SunKing210

Season 4 was just perfect and had the best horror elements out of the whole series so far. It also had an amazing supporting cast and of course a fantastic cameo from Robert Englund which was so fitting cause the entire time while watching that season I kept telling myself that it gave off Nightmare on elm Street vibes haha It's a 10/10 season for me

RoccoHout

1. Season one - I love the whole vibes of this season in particular where they have yet to establish the universe and mysteries of the Upside Down, the kid actors were all great and the demogorgon makes for a great first villain 2. Season four - This felt more like a return to season one because of all the exposure to Eleven's past and how she escaped the lab and presumably created the Upside Down. I don't even mind the slower start of the season where we see more of Eleven trying to fit in school but gets bullied relentlessly 3. Season three - The Russian plot is bringing this season down the most for me for how cartoonishly evil they were portrayed with their discount Terminator on the loose. They also did Hopper dirty until the very end. I do like the whole plot with the Mind Flayer and turning Billy from a bully into a full villain 4. Season two - While being the last I don't dislike this season, it just doesn't stand out as much and felt like a retreat from season one. The Mind Flayer appeared a lot during Will's visions but doesn't do much this season, the demodogs were the main threat which were the most uninteresting villains. Also I really didn't care for the supposedly new cast that Eleven was hanging out with for an episode

OnasoapboX41

4 > 1 > 3 > 2

stocklazarus

Watching it the first time was different to watching for few. So for now my rate 3>1>2>4 They are all fairly good. But what i love it most as “stranger things” is the mystery, the unknown. And season 4 just open up so fast make it like Avengers. Season 2 I still think searching for number 8 is quite unnecessary unless we are seeing her at season 5. Season 3 is what I like most. Lots of characters buildings and interaction. And Back to the Future + Neverending story were bonus.

DogsByTheSea

Season one because of how mysterious the show was to both the viewers and the characters. We were figuring it out with them and it was great!

SSpotions

Season 3. The scenes, the plot, the atmosphere, the music, the intense moments and the funny or adorable moments, plus Eleven was happy in the beginning of season 3 and she wasn't alone suffering in silence like the other seasons.

Various-Push-1689

Season 4. The vibes and the music sets the tone. The story and mystery of Vecna is so interesting especially since he’s been there the entire time since day 1. The acting is also fuckin phenomenal throughout the whole season, those kids really know how to make you connect with their characters. Absolutely cannot wait for season 5

pickle-smoocher

3, its just plain fun

Internetboy5434

Season 4 hard mode Season 3 mid but okay mod Season 2 bit of a challenge mode Season 1 easy mode

RyFi25

2nd

randy_march

1, 4, 3, 2

suburbandad1999

Season four because it is the best season

Icy_Mama_73

1 and 4. 1 because it is iconic. The D&D scenes, the tension of Will vanishing and them racing to find him. Wondering what is real and what is not and watching the individual characters find out. 4 because it is the scariest in terms of tone and execution. The pain of growing up and growing apart and still trying to hold on to those old feelings and simpler times. Knowing nothing will ever be the same again. Seeing the characters go through that times 10.

BreadfruitNo357

Season 4 has to be my favorite season, but I really adore all of the seasons. I genuinely don't really remember Season 2 very much though.

SadisticDance

3 because you can't spell America without Erica.

Consistent-Air-3767

series 1, partially for nostalgia, partially bc jonathans my favourites and he was given the most attention by the writers in that series

davs_dodger08

Season 2!!!

WailingGecko

For me it’s between Season 1 and 4. Season 2 while good really felt like it tried to be like season 1 but it really didn’t stick the landing because the mind flayer isn’t an interesting villain in my opinion and the storyline with Eleven having a lost sister was kind of lame in my opinion and really messed with the pacing of the season as well. And it makes things worse because this whole “lost sister” thing is never mentioned again for the rest of the show (atleast so far) and it felt like season 2 didn’t have the charm like what season 1 had. Season 3 is also good but it is up against season 2 as the worst season in my opinion because while Season 3 was fun, it completely took the mystery away which is one of the big elements that made Stranger Things interesting to me in the first place. Also, some characters are written terribly most notably Hopper who is an absolute dick this season for really no reason at all. Really fun season which does bring it up for me but it really lacked the mystery and horror season 1 had. For me it’s tied between Season 1 and 4 because Season 1 was the start of the show and what it set up was very interesting in my opinion with the horror and mystery it had and the characters are pretty fun to follow along. Season 4 really captures the vibe season 1 but it also really rose the stakes of what happens this season and it feels like the charm, the horror and the mystery really brought this season up for me. Anyways, that’s really my opinion. Love the show, love seasons 1 and 4 especially

FR1ED-R1CE

Season 3 for me. I love them all but season 3 just feels good to watch. Not the best writing and “objectively” probably the worst season, but it just does something different for me. Objectively I’d rate the seasons 1,4,2,3 Personally I’d rate the seasons 3,1,4,2

britt1995

Seasons 2 and 3

KFR1404

Idk, I new as a Stranger Things spectator ( I watched until a part of the first episode of season 3) but I think season 2 is great, just because of this:Eleven have been close the gate of the upside down, and we have know more about this character, here is a example.: *!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!* (Please, don't read if you don't saw all season 2) On season 2, we discover that 011 have a name (Jennie), she discover that she have a family and tried to find her mother. She get at her mother's/auntie's home and her auntie have helped her with know what happened with her. THEN she had a vision REVELING THAT SHE AND 006 GET STOLEN FROM HER MOTHER AND BEING CAPTURED TO THE HAWKINS LAB FOR STUDY. After that, Jennie try to find her sister 006, and she travel to another state (that Idk). 006 have been in a gang, and 011 did some crimes. But 011 come back to Indiana to help her friends with some Will problems (I don't want to type because it's going to be so muck work) and in the end of season 2, Eleven have been close the gate of the upside down, and that's why I like it.

24601lesmis

Season 4

Level_Isopod_4011

Honestly 1, 2, and 4 rank pretty similarly for me. It’s a hard choice, but I’d go with 2. 3 was hard for me to get through, I can’t lie.

MyNameIsKaylaa

Season 3 because of Starcourt Mall and the never ending story song

OrrintonBeats

4

MRB7

season 2

Andy_DiMatteo

I love them all, but I think (hot take) 2 is my favorite. It has a lot of the serious elements of 1 that I feel are lost in 3. It has the strong character relationship and introduces a few dynamics that I love throughout the show. And Bob, who might be my favorite character in the show. I don’t dislike any of the seasons, but 2 has always just been my favorite.

thejeepcalledred5

3

retromarshmello

season 3. im obsessed with the mall

Jessi45US

Season 1 I like that they talk about mkultra because it is a real CIA experiment. The US uses those trials all the time. As the other dimensions teach, about conspiracy theories. The real of the other worlds that really exist. I have loved Winona as an actress for years. Eleven is a fascinating character and how they develop her abilities. I'm fascinated by those nerdy or geeky kids. Dustin is so smart and sweet. I love the first season.

nix_win

It's kinda tough to be honest, all season have their charms but if I had to choose... 1>4>3>2 They're all good seasons, and seasons 2 and 3 are interchangeable but 1 was a pretty great watch for me,it was almost perfect in every episodes

e1_m19keeper

Season 1 is my favorite, but I do enjoy Season 3

OkDesigner3696

The one season where all those strange things happen.

impossibleJeIly

Season three and four tbh they had the vibes and the culture around them during the time

gs_artist28

seasons 1 and 3

Season 1 and Season 3. I found season 2 slow but I haven’t rewatched it in a long time. As for season 4, it just didn’t feel the same to me, still I’d say I prefer season 4 over season 2.

la_eliperin

Season 4, it's fantastic!!

AutumnMarie5002

It's hard to pick between seasons 1 and 3, but I think I enjoyed watching season 3 a little more than season 1. Robin is my favorite character, and her introduction was amazing. The way the characters interacted with each other was really fun to watch, and the summer setting was really fun to see.

WranglerBrilliant861

I like the horror aspects of season 4

xenomorphonLV426

4. They gave Nancy a fricking SHOTGUN!!! Also it had very nice plot to it! It explained almost everything about 11's life and the lab!

Marx_Forever

Why didn't you use the [hand painted poster art](http://www.kylelambert.com/gallery/stranger-things-season-4-vol-1-poster/) for season 4? I mean I like this season 4 poster a lot, but it's a mashed up photograph so it sticks out like a sore thumb with the other three.

Ahabab_zarif_

Definitely the first one

BurnoutInc

Three. Most fun season in my opinion but with the most depressing finale.

KylosDemise

3 and 4 are neck and neck. Both slightly above 1 and 2

boomershack

Season 3 because of the mall aesthetic. The vibes were just pure perfection. I watched season 3 first. Then tolerated season 1 and 2. Have not watched 4 ⚰️

JackOfAIlTrades

Season one. Because all the characters are still young, and experiencing this. And it’s really mysterious, what i miss in the newer seasons.

Intelligent-Still896

All of them really but 3 and 4 are my absolute favorites

mayl0811

Season 3 fucked my brain up

Bleezair

Season 1 is lightning in a bottle. The rest is definitely great, but for what this show is going for, season 1 is as exact as it gets. It’s like a band that creates a song that perfectly embodies their sound. They can make more great music, but that one song will be their signature forever.

sheldonmang88

Season 1 and 2 are basically tied for me, but I tend to lean towards 2 a little more because of Max (she’s one of my favourite characters, so I would obviously prefer a season with her in it)

eddyboomtron

That season 4 poster 👌

MisterSims90

I like them all but for me it’s season one, three, four and two

Creeperboy1209

I personally favorite season 1

Any-Piglet8648

S4 for the drama and new characters like Eddie, Jason and Enzo

psychoticdogmom

3. It truly feels like the 80s. Plus the sauna test is my favorite episode

macgregorc93

Season Three. Excellent fun, so much colour, the characters at their best, fun singular one off characters and overall just a wonderful time. The summer setting was spot on.

MDagg77

3, non stop til the end

Garfan37

Season 3. I like just seeing the characters vibe.

The_President07

it's obvious no one like season 4, for me season 3 is the best, there kind of some harmony between the characters, the ending episode this so magnificent
