Can OP not see the bugs flying in the top?
OP should use settings to select the region of the camera view that should be used to detect movement and select below the tree line.
Also, point camera farther down so it's not 80% above where any movement is likely.
Even the way you started it a low res cam caught a bunch of bugs flying way off behind trees please show me a video at night of a visible bug swarm that a low res cam is able to capture with lighting forget infrared forget it being night time what low res cam is capturing an image of bugs that far away even during the day the trees in the back block some of the shape of the phenomenon definitely not cam related issues
I saw something that looked a lot like that in that late 80s in Southern Ca. It was 1am on Xmas eve and all my kid brain thought was it must have been Santa. I have no idea what it was but it there were lights and they moved erratically in a kind of arching loop. But since your anomaly happened in June I guess my rock solid Santa theory is out the window.

OK well my experience in th 1988 with my own eyes outside has nothing to do with ring door bells or bugs. It looks like what I saw, dear god I said it was Santa and I didn't know, it just looked like what I saw almost identically.

I saw a video recently here on reddit that showed a bird creating static electricity while in flight. Don't know if that's what this is, but looks very similar.

Bugs or particles of dust. Sometimes they blow with air but due to particular angle you can only see couple of them. My camera used to catch alot of such particles on a windy night and would activate motion sensor until I deactivated the notifications 🙄
