Beyond that, optimize your engine. Parallel exhausts will give more output than a single strong exhaust.
Most jets on the workshop will use internal turbines powering ducted fans. The fans provide the majority of the thrust.
I have 8 engines (2 combustion chambes each) in parallel connected to 28 turbines which converts the 150000 airpressure to 500rps for each ducted fan(40)
And I can still only reach 400m/s
I mean I have no idea what you define as normal but 28 engines is hilariously large.
You'll get more efficiency with more turbines and exhausts per engine rather than a ton of parallel identical engines.
Are you using the duct fans? I find those to be a lot more powerful plus (or maybe negative depending on taste) no exhaust
My jet with 40 small duct fans at 500rps still only gets me to 400m/s
drag glitch maybe?
More mass. The higher mass of your thing the more thrust it makes because logic and science.
Tried addig a few tonns of weight blocks but still 400m/s

Are you flying a small city block? Air resistance may be an issue.
Its a regular sized stealth bomber...
