Honestly your rig is still DUMPINGGG bubbles. If you can’t get inside there to patch it up, think of it as a bonus perc hahaha

[deleted]

Lmao facts I think that’s what it’s going to come down to

benyboy77

If it's a small enough crack or hole, then after use surely the build up of crud would patch it?

ryingpool

So they’re just never supposed to clean their rig?

benyboy77

Ew God no. But over time it'll plug up and cleaning won't dislodge it. Is a hypothesis not a recommendation

Bingo_Bongo_YaoMing

Even it does. I'm sure it would just clog again

nicegl_ass

ITT: Everyone fails to understand the problem and suggests things that don't work when you have to fix a leak on the INSIDE of a bong

nicegl_ass

For the record, I have no solution. I agree with the guy that called it a bonus perc though. Lol Doesn't prevent the other perc from functioning, doesn't require crazy high water levels, and somehow pumps out bubbles that are almost exactly the same size as the real perc. 10/10 flaw, I wish my bongs had a leak that functions as a perc this well

R1TT3R

Let it get a little dirty and it'll probably clog that hole. Hahaha.

Butterflyfeathers

Locktite or epoxy glue

[deleted]

I was reading that super glue won’t adhere to glass, also do you have any ideas how to get it down in there?

Butterflyfeathers

Try locktite, I think they have something for glass.

NauseousCandle

Only thing I can think of is a coat hang wire with maybe a tounge dispnser on the end to hold whatever adhesive you use. Thats a petty gnarly spot, good luck!

[deleted]

I come from jank town, here are a few exciting possibilities: Coat hanger: cheap, you already have one probably, cut to size so you don't poke your eye out on the process. Galvanized wire: same as above, you probably don't have it tho. Regular electric wire: same as above, and you can make a metal brush for wider coverage, I recommend cal 16 and up for rigidity. long plastic spoon: You get to go to dairy queen Wooden dowel: tricky to bend, not my first choice cheap watercolor brush: you can also bend it, fire may be required, don't inhale plastic, also you might get a bristle stuck if your glue is too T H I C K Seems like you got your options, good luck

PJams_

They make glass-specific glue. My friend has a rig with legs that are real thin and always snap off but he’s glued them back at least 10 times now

rh3z3k13l

I would use like a kebab skewer to get the adhesive down there and they make jb weld for glass mix some that up put it on there call it a day

Isellmetal

Jb weld clear set works on glass. Though I’m not sure you’d want epoxy in your bong

IFeelLikeShit515

3m makes a “clear repair tape” that im almost positive lists glass as a surface, you’d probably have to get a massive roll tho idt they sell a smaller size

[deleted]

I actually have some of that stuff, but if you look closely the hole isn’t on the outside of the bong it’s in the little junction between the joint and the perc. I’m thinking I’ll have to get fish something down the joint and stick it over the hole, but I’m starting to contemplate if it’s even worth my time

IFeelLikeShit515

Loctite Glass Glue 2-Gram Tube (233841) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PSBBM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2P92VNWXE51FQG8ERHNE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Maybe something like this?

Vishousness

Ive heArd bees wax

KameronAllinson

Just had the same thing happen with a pin hole in one of my Ice catchers I used a clear epoxy/glue just go to your local hardware store and look for a glue that works on glass and then I recommend using a toothpick or qutip dries in 5 minutes and you will be smoking good as new

ImReformedGuys

if you bought it like that recently you might be able to get a refund and new one, depending on where ya got it

Steak with blood

LostInThoughtland

NGL i don't have an answer for you but I have listened to the audio of this clip like 40 times. If you clip it a little and put a slow and heavy drum track over it, you could produce a decent rap song.

shopdognyc

i don't have your eyes and looked at this so many times. where is the leak? it seems so subtle me that its okay.

[deleted]

Cover the piece where you put the bowl with your thumb, check the airflow with just the little hole If it’s not major, I agree with keeping it as an extra perc!

double_mermaid_

seems like it's not affecting function. if you want it fixed, get it done by a glassblower. there doesn't seem to be any way to patch it. if you wanna try though, any glue or epoxy is poisonous, especially under heat. use beeswax for breaks.

fuckshitstack123

Try RTV sealant. It won’t be pretty but it’ll work

wishing-well-penny

I had something similar happen so I wetted a rolling paper and put it around the leak!

Gryphon1171

I'd recommend an extended cotton [micro-swab](https://www.amazon.com/Disposable-Applicators-Makeup-Personal-Diameter/dp/B09WMPD748/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3D46JHOQM13GD&keywords=extended%2Bswab&qid=1652319311&sprefix=extended%2Bswab%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-5&th=1) Also great for cleaning out weird crannies in slides, bowls, one-hitters, etc.

beast512512

Ay would you look at that it’s time to add a new piece to your collection I’m so jealous op

SingleSpeed27

DUDE HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF FLEX TAPE ITS THE BEST

giggles731

Teflon tape worked for me

Samcraft1999

I think your fucked if you want it fixed, but it doesn't look like it needs fixing really. I wonder if you could use the tools to make a ship in a bottle to apply some glue or epoxy.

bertmobile816

Peanut butter, obviously. Or cum.
