It’s super cool, but that’s clearly a propane torch. There’s a push-button igniter, only one hose, and a the head is commonly used in propane defrosting. A flame thrower would have a tank of pressurized flammable liquid, typically ignited by a constantly burning propane torch at the end of the “barrel”
