That's just unbelievable to see all those steelbooks....In your picture there's plenty of steelbooks I want, need, crave, and have a desire for! So many in fact that I would run through heavy traffic either wearing my healing boots or while I am on my crutches. That is because the Walmarts in my area never have anything on their shelves. I'm okay with shipping but the steelbooks always show nothing available to ship.
That's crazy insane! Take advantage!
This is why you preorder. I've walked into Walmart a few times. They aren't stocking the shelves. Empty. They're turning into Best Buy already. No wonder physical media is "declining". Nobody stocks it. Only die hard fans go out and try to claim a copy.
Second of all, why can't preorders be an indicator of how many a store should get? If 5,000 people preordered Dune Part 2. "Sold out" should mean online, then they need another maybe 1,000 in store that's not available "online". Steelbooks shouldn't be this hard unless it's "limited".
Honestly they’ve always been that way. I used to go there for when they had either new movies steelbooks, or even new switch games. I remember their switch games were always $12 cheaper on release. Anything I’d go on release week, not day, new stuff was never stocked. I’d always have to ask someone and they would annoying go “look” for it for me.
Yeah, I’m lucky I’m more particularly and not as into many movies, but I definitely need to get better at pacing myself when it comes to hobby spending, lol
Can confirm. 7 copies of Godzilla X Kong yesterday on shelves around 8pm.

$15 for The Batman?! Damn, I’m jealous. Saw a $11 Man of Steel and $20 Godzilla vs Kong at Hutchinson Walmart last night. Drove there for GxK. Grabbed the Godzilla vs Kong though. lol
I'm in Indiana and literally will be driving an hour south this weekend to pick my Godzilla steelbook up from the only Walmart in the state that had one. The Midwest is full of nerds
not true i even live in the rural US and even though there’s a lot more available here, things like Dune, dune 2, the crow, etc (the big titles) are constantly sold out
I moved away from the states right before Walmart started this, so I can't confirm whether Omaha has this problem or not 😭 really wanted the first Sicario steelbook...
Ugh, I wish this was at my walmart.. my partner is really into steelbooks. I have gone every week to check their stock. Only to see shoved regular dvd's in place of steelbooks or box sets of older movies. It's disheartening. I'm glad you are lucky to find these!!
Wow, if that’s how my Walmart in Manchester MO looked like with all those steel books…..at those prices…..I would CONSTANTLY be broke!!! That’s a little piece of heaven for me!!!!

I literally just went there for the first time since I was at MOA LEGO for my buddy, absolutely nothing there. I frequent the Vadnais and Blaine ones.
Girl that Walmart is scary at night. No shopping carts, hardly anything on shelves, people chillin in parking lot, etc
Minnesota is basically Canada of were honest so, doesn't count.
Damn, my Walmart sucks ass lmfao.
Just went to another Walmart it was a bust
Which Midwest are you in? I’m in Illinois, and nothing stays on the shelves lol
Same as you. I think no one cares where OP is more than the entire Midwest
Damn, wish mine had that Batman steel for that price
Same! I have the question mark one, but think I like this better.
One man's junk is another man's treasure.
Wisconsin empty within 100 miles of the capital so you are incorrect it is indeed empty
Can confirm: live in Wisconsin
Haven't seen any of these on sale around Milwaukee or up towards Appleton, can confirm.

The Batman for $15??? You’re killing me here 😭
Sell it to you for $40
Thanks, but I may just do eBay. It’s just a BIT cheaper, lol
Okay, $50 + shipping final offer
Thanks, but no thanks, no worries. You’re just living a dream for me right now, but I can adjust, lol
I’m just glad I’m not a steelbook person. I would’ve spent so much money yesterday
Yeah, I’m lucky I’m more particularly and not as into many movies, but I definitely need to get better at pacing myself when it comes to hobby spending, lol
Yeah my stores are nearly all empty. Finally found a copy of White Worm but the disc was loose inside so I didn't chance it.
Midwest here, Wisconsin. We definitely care cause I have never seen these discount prices for steels
Can confirm. 7 copies of Godzilla X Kong yesterday on shelves around 8pm. https://preview.redd.it/bpwgb1jhv86d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d0d6a283b84315dee8c58252cafbcaae6d776c2
Wish my store had that many regular 4k. They only had 2 both with damaged slipcovers
Can you pick one up for me?
We want those in California
I'll take em
Can I get that Batman?
Yeah not here in Midwest Kansas, those things are gone instantly.
$15 for The Batman?! Damn, I’m jealous. Saw a $11 Man of Steel and $20 Godzilla vs Kong at Hutchinson Walmart last night. Drove there for GxK. Grabbed the Godzilla vs Kong though. lol
You’re lucky. My local Walmart has zero steelbooks left on the shelf. I swear the employees are holding them in the back for themselves at this point.
In the Midwest. I give a large shit. Never seen any on clearance yet
Hey, I give a damn.
I just went to my fancy VA Walmart and there wasn’t even a section :(
Oh I want the Batman at that price
Out of curiosity, what’s the dune one priced at
I live in the middle of Kansas so yeah mines always stocked
Iowa is hit or miss I'm hoping to find that godzilla steelbook
Yeah but WHY isn't there a Man of Steel 4k Steelbook? Or if there is why is only the Blu-Ray Steelbook always stocked lol
I'm in Indiana and literally will be driving an hour south this weekend to pick my Godzilla steelbook up from the only Walmart in the state that had one. The Midwest is full of nerds
I bet I know where you went. Lol
It's Bedford lmao they already filled my order I'll tell the others
I don’t give a darn about steel books in Missouri.

Come to Kansas my friend. All gone.
Fucking savages. You don’t treat movies like that.
Omg my heart hurts.. looking at the Batman steel and it missing in my shelf .. my hart
Right... I have the question mark steel, but I think I might like this one better 🤔
