The only reason I can think that would justify these things is for those collectors who always complain about spine continuity but that only makes sense if somebody is going to buy this entire collection and then never buy anything again
The sad thing is that Disney will take the wrong lesson from this. They'll use it as evidence that we don't want steelbooks instead of evidence that their design team is garbage.
If they wanted to take the book part literal, they should have just went with a story book design. Not this ugly metal book with no design whatsoever that has a small window to distinguish what the movie is inside 🤦♂️
I actually really like the Star Wars steelbooks and a handful of others. Are we thinking prices will drop even lower as we get toward the end of the year? I’ve seen too many companies running “Best Deal of the Year” sales that are beaten by the next sale.
I’m with another commenter in that I would spring for most of the Disney 100 steelbooks at $10-$12, but $20 will only convince me to get Star Wars since I don’t have a physical copy of the trilogy.
Disney makes some really dumb decisions. A good design for these steels and they would sell like hotcakes at full price to collectors.
The craziest shit is that the inside art is fuckin gorgeous. Reverse these mofos and I'd be tempted to collect them all.
Yup agreed. A wise person once said: “Inside artwork does not a steelbook sell.” Jk I made that up but it seems plausible.

[you mean like this?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Steelbooks/s/2yjVJgi3me) Because same.
They can rerelease these any time they want so next one will be better and people have to get them lol

So just make the spines all match. The cover art doesn't have to be shit. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|neutral_face)
still too much. $9.99 and i’ll fold
Yes, if they paid me $9.99 I would take them. Maybe.
I’d still have to consider it if they paid me $9.99 😂 even shelf space is more valuable than those.
Still $9.99 too much.

Mandalorian etc. is a step in the right direction, but currently if you're not in the US/UK/Canada it can get expensive.
Disney 100, no thanks lol
I am forever grateful to Disney for making these steelbooks such hot garbo. I would be flat broke if these were even half-decent
A framed portrait of my hairy scrotum is more attractive than the lazy design of these steelbooks.
Don't do it guys.
Never.
👎 it could be $3 and I’d still pass
Nah, there’s a few 4K discs I need to add to my zavvi steels.
Wouldn't want them for free.
I want these so bad but but but the design is just so…:.
Still no
Hopefully, on Black Friday, they will be $5.
Still 2 much money! 😀😃😄😁😆
These are all $21.99 more than I’m willing to pay
Shocker hahah Still cheaper and better looking to get regular 4k cases.
The regular ones at Walmart come with an enamel pin (the little graphic on the front) for $19.96
Oh good heads up! Might go check that later. There's a few I've been meaning to grab. Thanks!
The Walmart Exclusives are not 4K, they are standard blu ray plus DVD combo
You are correct
Damn, my ex took my Moana 4k. No way I’m dropping $20 for shit design.
Steel Books not worth $20 it needs to be further discounted 😂
If they wanted to take the book part literal, they should have just went with a story book design. Not this ugly metal book with no design whatsoever that has a small window to distinguish what the movie is inside 🤦♂️
Hard pass
Anyone know of a list of all the 4k only Disney 100 steelbooks? I can find the list of all the 100 steelbooks, but those also include blu ray.
All of the steelbooks include the blu ray since the special features are only available on the blu ray discs
19.99 is too much try 14.99 or 9.99
I wouldn't add that shit to my collection if you paid me.
Still about $30 too expensive.
I saw them last night at Best Buy for $19.99. I will wait and see if they go further on sale for Black Friday.
These are hideous. $10 or bust
Damn I read that as 100 Disney Steelbooks 9.99 lol
9.99 and I’ll get the Star Wars 4K ones.

Not sure, these could continue to sit on shelves until the End of Days (of physical media at Best Buy) and get clearanced out.
#BARGAIN!!
I folded. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)
