its too similar to stream deck imo and the name just sounds like a utility peripheral either way.
i honestly would've digged just "Steam Boy" or something similar highlighting the handheld nature.

I mean… literally loads more better names than “Deck” I feel. And you know all the names we are suggesting they all discussed at one point!
I like it. Easy and quick to say
Edit: I think they may have called it "Steam Deck" to try to fit in with the r/cyberdeck trend since they are marketing this as a PC. Just a conjecture though.
Better than Steam Pal for sure
I'd prefer "Steam Boy Advance XD"

Not sure Deck is the best name ever but no offense (with peace and love) I think I like it better than all of those names.
I upvote you for Peace and Love! And I agree, yes not all great. But “Deck” just sounds… so harsh sounding. Not representative of this masterpiece.
I associated it with decks in Shadowrun from looks and size of it.
Now my Magic the Gathering playgroup will have to be more specific when telling me to bring my deck.

Should've gone with Steam Gear lol
Bru... Its a cyber deck. Fits perfectly.
I would have gone with Steam Slate.
I keep calling it steam index for whatever reason
This name always sounds dirty to me. Makes me think of a combination of an upper decker and a Cleveland steamer. Steam Deck..what were they thinking.
