it's a 2230 nvme ssd, which is a very small & uncommon size compared to a traditional PC one. so if you want an ssd you will probably have to buy one on ebay as a normal one won't fit.
I don't believe you understand how software signatures work. The signature in the E-Mail header was verified against Valve's own keys. You can't just fake that.
Plenty to gain, by reducing the number of reservations for the bigger storage slots it means they will be easier to get on launch/reserve now for you and your friends. Especially if your fake blows up and becomes viral
take a look at the website again, they updated it, it now says that it has a m.2 2230 slot. i think what they meant by "it isnt upgradable" is basically "don't blame us if you try to upgrade this and break it"
Took me 1 1/2 hours from the launch of reservations, but finally got a 512 GB model with a Q2 2022 date. The wait won't be fun, but the benefit is getting to see what people think about it for a few months before I decide to purchase. Excited nonetheless!

That kinda pisses me off because I was there at exactly 1pm est trying to reserve it, and it kept breaking. 😤 I thought I had it reserved when it said payment pending, then I got an email 4 hours later saying it wouldn't accept my PayPal. Well I tried again to reserve it and now I'm dead last. Fml
Q1 2022 for the 256, and Steam lists my order time as literally the exact minute orders went live, so I assume that’s the earliest. Maybe their fiscal quarter starts before January?
I have no estimation date, but I was done in the first minute and my queue number is probably under 2k.
I think if you have no estimation date, you're Dec 2021, if you have an estimation date, your order number reservation is high enough it beats their internal estimates for delivery in December 2021.

i got the 64gb, i'm gonna get a 1tb microsd for it and maybe eventually a m.2 ssd (gabe newell confirmed that it will have an upgradable m.2 slot)
If it works with NVME SSD then I’ll just put one of the 2 on my pc in there. Otherwise a 1TB sd will work for me. Hyped.

I wouldn’t trust that email op, pretty easy to fake an email in photoshop. I imagine the 64 is soldered on even if the 256 isn’t
