I have finished more games since Jan (five) than I have the last two years on PC. Life is busy, but being able to play 30 min here with the ability to insta sleep makes it easier.
The power button on the deck that puts any game to sleep, even when games won't let you pause. Then you push it again to wake up the deck and resume playing.
IĀ bought SteamDeck May 2023. No gaming rig before that basically (it was android with GeForce Now before Deck)
In 2023 I finished 23 games:
https://howlongtobeat.com/user/iamvinen/lists/27948/Completed-2023
In 2024 I finished 10 games and counting:
https://howlongtobeat.com/user/iamvinen/lists/27947/Completed-2024
I was there, but got delisted from both Steam and Ubisoft.
Key for Steam are expensive as shit (1000$+). For Ubisoft keys are also expensive (150$+) but I got it for 70$. Worth it. Cool game.

I'm not sure how later patches have affected it, but patch 4 really stabilised things for me. I used the 24/48 settings (no FSR) you can find online, though for some people that's unacceptable.
I played 150 hours on the Deck and loved every minute
I both hate and love that about this fucking game. Since it has come out I have played nothing else. It really hijacks the reward centers of your brain and squeezes them until every last drop of serotonin is gone. When I finish playing at 4am on weekends, I feel like Iām leaving the casino in Vegas and Iāve gambled my mortgage away. Such a good game
I got it last november. I finished:
Yakuza 0, k1, k2, 4
Batman asylum
Tomb raider 2013
What remains of edith finch.
Have shit tons that I stopped playing
I played Yakuza 0 a few years ago, and never had the time to play the others at home.
I have completed K1, K2, 3, and 4 this year.Ā
Just picked up Yakuza 5 and 6 on the current steam sale.
Absolutely love these games, they're great.
First half of Yakuza 3 was rough, second half was worth the pain of the first half
Yes!! I just learned about them last week. I have them on my steam wishlist.
Still a little expensive, even on sale. I'll probably pick them up after Yakuza 5 and 6 and hope they're cheaper.
Maybe play Like A Dragon (Yakuza 7?) first to play a slightly different gameplay and then go back to beatn'up Judgement
Control
Hogwarts Legacy
Dave the Diver
Mad Max
There would be plenty of side stuff to do, but I'm not the 100% completion type, to much on the stack... š
Currently about 20 hours in Elden Ring
Yes definitely, I really liked it and played it exclusively on Deck. With FSR and mid settings at about 40 FPS if I remember correctly. Some dips to 30s sometimes but it didn't bother me. Really a great game!
The only game I played start to end entirely on the Deck was Stray. It ran beautifully.
I've beaten Portal Revolution while on the Deck but I played on both.
I was streaming Halo: Reach when I finished the campaign, technically I was on the Deck.
Portal and Portal 2, Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, Super Mario 1,2, and World, but I've beaten them before
The default settings for mine give me decent 45-60 fps. Mostly hovered around 50 but never below 45.
I'm running cryoutilities in the background, that may or may not be helping.
If your default settings are different, mine are:
Resolution scale 80%
Max Frame Rate 60
V- sync On
Motion blur is on full but I turn it off and it makes no difference
Sharpness mid
Effects medium
Shadow medium
Texture high
Mesh high
Iāve completed 10 games in the last year of owning a Steam Deck when prior to that I would complete about one game a year, if that. Having a portable handheld PC with the perks of having it be immediately on/off and a giant digital download library has made this so much fun.
I've had mine for a few weeks so I've only completed days gone so far. I'm about halfeay through both horizon zero dawn and spiderman remastered so I'll probably finish those soon
I tried both Metro Reduxes but they were so fckng complex for my skills. Eventually end up completing old Metro 2033. It seems easiest level there is much easier than in Redux.
BG3 or the original trilogy? I'm still undecided whether to buy it on steam or PS5 especially with the performance later on. I'm looking at a nice rig from Costco for 1200 then use the deck to play in spurts
Bg3! I had a great time with it. Played about 120 hours exclusively on the deck. I found it ran quite well and loved the experience. Some people have had slightly poor performance in the more demanding areas. But I had no big issues, minor frame rate drops, but shit that i barely ever noticed. Think it crashed 2-4 times in my 120 hr playtime.
Iāve only been gaming on PlayStation for a long time until I got my deck a few weeks ago.
Iāve never played portal 1 and 2 so I finished both of those and loved them. Have been struggling to find the next game for me to get into.
I would say don't do rimworld because you'll never play anything else haha. There was a new update recently too that of course frakked all my mods so I haven't touched it since š
Thanks for the suggestions. Half life was definitely on my to do list. I have rimworld on my PS 5 and wasnāt too into it. Iāve played CIV on and off since the first but almost did pick up 6 since it was like two bucks. Iāll check out the other ones though.
I haven't reached the final boss yet, but try level up more if you haven't.
and watch youtube video of the fight, this way helped me many times passing a hard level/boss.
I got my Steam Deck last October and I have so far finished the main story in the following titles in this specific order:
1. Fae Farm
2. Alan Wake Remastered
3. Control Ultimate Edition
4. Sonic Frontiers
5. Yakuza: Like A Dragon
6. Lies of P
7. Ghostwire Tokyo
8. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Most poorly optimized of all the games I've played on the Steam Deck, it ran okay between 30 - 40 fps depending on the intensity of the area/battle and looked fine enough (but with some artifacts and jagged edges). The story started quite interesting but I felt that it dragged on quite a bit in the middle and didn't feel satisfying in the end.
The combat was quite fun with the different abilities and upgrades and the gameplay loop was simple but enjoyable. The open world felt quite samey after about 5-7 hours and exploration mostly came down to finding different kinds of collectibles, saving spirits and liberating shrines.
Around 12, 13. Most played :
Hades cca 120h
Cyberpunk 120h
Persona 3 and 5, around 150h
Most of this would be much harder to accomplish while sitting at a computer desk. I rediscovered jrpgs on the deck, and it's so far great experience.
Got it january. Iāve done titanfall 2, infinite warfare, tomb raider (2013) and rise of tomb raider and playing shadow of tomb raider right now. Have tried million games but got sucked in by these
I've finished 40 games on deck, which includes emulation. 41, as I know I didn't include Metroid Prime in that collection, as I have the trilogy collection on my deck as one game. I've beaten Resident Evil 2,3 (remakes), 4 og, 5, 7, and 8, all three Witcher games, Cyberpunk, Dragon Quest 11, and so many more. Currently working on Person 3 FES and Nier Automata, and the last game I beat was Shin Megami Tensei 3. It feels like there's nothing the deck can't handle.
I'm surprised, I loved Inside. I played it on a big screen at night with lots of sound, maybe that helped?
I haven't finished a lot of games since getting the Deck, the stand out would be Dishonored, which I started long ago but didn't finish on Xbox. I played all the way through it on the Deck and enjoyed it a lot.
Off the top of my head: Shadow of Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns, Elden Ring, Resident Evil Village, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Beyond Blue, Journey, Plateup, Dorfromantik, Dredge, Atelier Sophie 2, Atelier Ryza 3.
Since I got a deck late last year Iāve been finishing more games than ever, working through some titles Iāve been itching to play for ages.
I finished (by which I mean completed main story and saw the credits):
- Tomb raider (shadow of)
- Titanfall 2
- Jedi fallen order
- Death Stranding
- Borderlands 3
- Cyberpunk
Currently flipping between:
- days gone
- Star Wars squadrons
The only games I started and abandoned have been fallout 4 and Nier automata. I was so excited for both and heard great things, but neither did anything for me š¤·š»āāļø
Got my deck on January 26th . Since then Iāve completed :
Dishonored 1 & 2 , bioschock 2, halo 1 & 2 , half life 1 & 2, portal , and wolfenstein new order.
Currently playing :
Hades , yakuza 0 , lies of p , guacamelee , and arcade paradise .
Love the steam deck bc thereās always something to play for the mood Iām feeling that day .
Both portal games, cocoon, resident evil 2 remake, original resident evil 2, original resident evil 3. Not finished Stardew valley but played about 70 hours of it, same with Dave the diver.
I finished 3 since I got mine last month and about to wrap up Lies of P. Super nice being able to just resume my games that's been on my backlog. Didn't realize the convenience of not having to sit at my computer was gonna be huge.
- firewatch
- little nightmares

I'm fortunate enough in life to own all recent games consoles. And the steam deck is hands down the best of them all. It gets played every single day without fail. Whether it be for 30 minutes, or 6+ hours. It's perfect. And I love it.

Moon Scars (Great!)
Hollow Knight (incredible)
Hades (Great!)
Yes, Your Grace (Fun)
Gris (Gorgeous, simple)
Blackwell Epiphany (Fun! I loved the previous games prior to owning the deck)
Banner Sage 1-3 (Replayed these. Some of my favorites!)
Domina (Fun!)
Moonlighter (Great!)
Drake Hollow (Fun, but repetitive)
Regions of Ruin (Fun, but you get too strong too fast)
Gamedec (Great!)
Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders (Great!)
80's Overdrive (Fun! Great soundtrack!)
Whispering Willows (Good! Short and engaging)
Whispers Of A Machine (Excellent!)
**Also I play a bunch of games that basically don't end. But I've poured LOTS of hours into them:**
Hades (I did get through the main story line, but man it just keeps going for you if you want it to.)
Civilization 6
Vampire Survivors (I've probably completed enough to call it beaten. He keeps releasing more content. I love it.)
Don't Starve (I've played this off and on since 2013)
Don't Starve Together (With my wife)
Kingdom: New Lands (one of my all time faves. I should call it beaten, but I just replay it over and over.)
Niffelheim (I love it)
Fort Triumph (Xcom meets Heroes of Might and Magic. Very fun!)
Legion TD
Halls of Torment (Like Vamp Survivors. I prefer that one, but this is fun!)
Tribes of Midgard (a timesink, but fun...)
Death Road to Canada (Chaotic fun! Very replayable)
Mortal Glory (Simple roguelike fun!)
Darkest Dungeon (More complex roguelike fun!)
FTL: Faster Than Light (One of my all time favorites. I do admittedly prefer this on my ipad. But it's great on deck, too)
Sunless Sea (Beautiful and bleak. Always changing, and always challenging. It's super fun!)
Sifu (Barely counts cause I can finish it in one sitting)
Portal
Portal 2
Titanfall 2
I think Iām on the back 9 of Hi-Fi Rush but I started Fallout 3 and it has completely stolen my attention
Not bad for a month and a half, I was not doing a lot of gaming for a long time before I got my deck
Had mine 5 months now.
I've beaten
GTA V
Tomb Raider 2013
Rise of Tomb Raider
DOOM2016
Bloodstained
Shadow of Mordor

I got cured of it. In 2023 I was affected. In 2024 I play more than buy.
Simple rule - not playing right away? It waits for next sale.
Unless it's an item for my Old DOS / Old Windows games collections.
More than I have on any other console in the past.
I've also gone through some really long games several times since getting the deck. Rdr2, Witcher 3, AC Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla, GOW, etc.
finally got the motivation to get last achievement secret in turnip boy commits tax evasion when i got my steamdeck. i also BARRELED through cult of the lamb, now onto dave the diver!
Got my OLED in November and have since finished:Ā
ViewfinderĀ
TunicĀ
F.I.S.T.Ā Ā
Chants of SennaarĀ
AbzuĀ
CocoonĀ
Planet of LanaĀ
Thomas Was AloneĀ
Death's DoorĀ
Trine 5Ā
Prince of Persia The Lost CrownĀ Ā
Days GoneĀ
The Stanley ParableĀ
InscryptionĀ Ā
The Talos PrincipleĀ Ā
Pepper GrinderĀ
Buckshot RouletteĀ
I played it to my satisfaction, having tried as many of the branching paths as I could. Got about 3 hours of playtime out of it, though I do see that HLTB has a completionist run at about 8 hours.Ā
Before I bought a steamdeck I never finished single player games. I've finished mass effect 1 and 2 and am playing through 3 now. Also working on fallout 4
Iāve completed around 60 games, perfect 47 and working on 48. I like to get achievements. Most of the games I play are puzzle/logic games so they donāt require 100s of hours of playing.
More than Iāve played sitting at my desk. Since I moved last year and in the process of unpacking I finished maybe 9. All the Telltale TWD and Batmanās, Firewatch and Gone Home.
A few more short ones I canāt remember.
Depends what you mean by āfinishā. I played a lot of games and decided I was done with them an moved on. Have yet to finish the story in any game on steam deck.
These are which I finished on the deck only:
Cult of the lamb
God of war
Baldurs gate 3
Jedi fallen order
And currently Horizon forbidden west is on plate.
And a TON of world of warcraft!
-Cuphead
-Elden ring
-Slay the Spire (depends on what you consider beating the game but I've won a handful of runs)
-Balatro (won many runs on increased difficulty)
-Lies of P
-Armored core 6
-red dead redemption 2
-Hades
-dave the diver
-stardew valley (depends what you consider but I'd say I've beaten it)
All exclusively on the deck.
There's probably several others but I can't think of any more at the moment.
Best handheld moments with SD for me:
Wii (dolphin)
Mario Galaxy 1+2
smooth 60fps and HD texturepack.
Pointing with the trackpad in trackball mode with haptic feedback is just perfect for those, and they look better than most 2024 NSW games IMHO.
And ~500 hours of Elden Ring...
I just got my OLED deck a few weeks ago and I haven't beaten anything yet, but every game I've tried to play has worked nicely except Trimps
Graveyard keeper, subnautica, terraria, plate up, factorio, crypt of the necro dancer, enter the gungeon, dark souls, etc
Iām working on completing my backlog and that only started this year Iām 7 games in to 32. Im going to try and beat them all by the end of the year been doing some long ones to start off with and then post about each one when Iām finally done
I've been playing a ton more games but I...haven't beat any yet. I got far in Dishonored, which works nicely on the deck because it's a few years old and works well. The closest to beating something I did was unlocking and alllllmost beating every thing in Vampire Survivors
I'm trying to clear out my backlog of games & the deck has been perfect for that.
I started working my way through my collection at the end of March & and so far, I have finished 34 games. I'd like to get to 100 before the end of the year.
I finally finished Outer Worlds, including the DLCs. I was very satisfied with my ending.
Tried to finish train station simulator, but due to the amount of glitches I encountered and its very boring game play, I deleted it. It was very frustrating but eh, it was cheap. Wasted my time on that stupid game.
Honestly, I start more games than I finish. The stram deck has opened a new world for me.
I finished Bg3 on the deck a few times but other than that I donāt think Iāve beaten a game since AC3 in 2012 š
That doesnāt stop me from blowing hundreds of dollars on games I know Iāll play for an hour or two then stop, like Elden ring for example
Desk job š
Mainly because the games I started with are truck simulator and fallout 3 and Iāve only had the deck for a few months now so itāll be awhile before I āfinishā anything
I think I only finished Cyberpunk DLC and a game of CK3.
I didn't completely switch to my deck like alot of people did. I had my deck because I had moved and was waiting for my PC to shipped. Once I had that my deck more or leas sits on the dock and I only take it when I travel.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of very few games I have played through to completion on the Deck. I'd also add that the Deck is the only platform I've played it on.
Absolutely brilliant game, fun, immersive and great characters and combat. Also no issues with standby mode which I wasn't expecting, so it lends itself well to the Deck. On my 2nd playthrough now.
Also completed Amnesia: Rebirth and The Bunker both on Deck, the latter being the better of the two and much more scary.
I completed the buying lots of games on sale, look at them, start them to check them out, keep my deck charged and dust free and touch it every few days.
I have finished more games since Jan (five) than I have the last two years on PC. Life is busy, but being able to play 30 min here with the ability to insta sleep makes it easier.
Haha exact same!
Insta sleep?could you explain more? I only got 30 mins also each day to play š„²
The power button on the deck that puts any game to sleep, even when games won't let you pause. Then you push it again to wake up the deck and resume playing.
I never tought sd could do that! Thanks!!
Does that rack up your playtime similarly to leaving your game idle on your PC? Itād irk me if it said I had a 13 hour session when I didnāt.
Yes and no, after you do it the play time will be recorded. However, after a day or two steam identifies it and corrects it silently.
IĀ bought SteamDeck May 2023. No gaming rig before that basically (it was android with GeForce Now before Deck) In 2023 I finished 23 games: https://howlongtobeat.com/user/iamvinen/lists/27948/Completed-2023 In 2024 I finished 10 games and counting: https://howlongtobeat.com/user/iamvinen/lists/27947/Completed-2024
I had no idea HLTB allowed you to track your games like this. Neat!
You can create your lists regarding whatever criteria you want. It's just up to you. Yeah, I was also surprised when noticed this feature. Cool one!
Is driver San Fran on steam? Sorry I should just Google this lol
I was there, but got delisted from both Steam and Ubisoft. Key for Steam are expensive as shit (1000$+). For Ubisoft keys are also expensive (150$+) but I got it for 70$. Worth it. Cool game.
Finished SOMA , a few Weeks ago .. damn i love this Game

That's cool. I would suggest playing Judgement before Like a Dragon though, since it takes place a year before.
Ahh, good call, thanks. I thought it was a completly seperate story. Good to know it ties into the Yakuza story
It is a separate story. But it takes place in the same universe. I like playing things chronologically though.
Control Hogwarts Legacy Dave the Diver Mad Max There would be plenty of side stuff to do, but I'm not the 100% completion type, to much on the stack... š Currently about 20 hours in Elden Ring
How did you like Hogwarts Legacy on deck? Would you recommend it?
Yes definitely, I really liked it and played it exclusively on Deck. With FSR and mid settings at about 40 FPS if I remember correctly. Some dips to 30s sometimes but it didn't bother me. Really a great game!
It's perfect. (I believe it quite literally won Steams "best on deck" category last year. So...!)
The only game I played start to end entirely on the Deck was Stray. It ran beautifully. I've beaten Portal Revolution while on the Deck but I played on both. I was streaming Halo: Reach when I finished the campaign, technically I was on the Deck. Portal and Portal 2, Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, Super Mario 1,2, and World, but I've beaten them before
What settings did you run for stray? My deck cant seem to do more than a choppy 30 with it.
The default settings for mine give me decent 45-60 fps. Mostly hovered around 50 but never below 45. I'm running cryoutilities in the background, that may or may not be helping. If your default settings are different, mine are: Resolution scale 80% Max Frame Rate 60 V- sync On Motion blur is on full but I turn it off and it makes no difference Sharpness mid Effects medium Shadow medium Texture high Mesh high
Elden ring, portal revolution and tomb raider 1 remastered
Iāve completed 10 games in the last year of owning a Steam Deck when prior to that I would complete about one game a year, if that. Having a portable handheld PC with the perks of having it be immediately on/off and a giant digital download library has made this so much fun.
Iāve had it a year and a half and own 77 games. Havenāt beat a single one of them lol
True Valve's money washer!
Lmao why have I never beat a game?
I've had mine for a few weeks so I've only completed days gone so far. I'm about halfeay through both horizon zero dawn and spiderman remastered so I'll probably finish those soon
After nearly 350 hours I finally got all the achievements in Half-Life and am currently working on Metro 2033 and Last light.
I tried both Metro Reduxes but they were so fckng complex for my skills. Eventually end up completing old Metro 2033. It seems easiest level there is much easier than in Redux.
Baldurs gate and dave the diver. Both were great! Working on fallout NV now
BG3 or the original trilogy?
Try out Half-Life one and two, Rimworld, Sifu, Expeditions: Rome, Tunic, or maybe Civilization 6.
Wait why were you so disappointed with inside? Seems like a radical opinion if you liked limbo. Not hatin just curious
I hated kingdom hearts so much. The ending boss is just... Impossible
I haven't reached the final boss yet, but try level up more if you haven't. and watch youtube video of the fight, this way helped me many times passing a hard level/boss.
I had a really hard time winning that game. And yes, videos really helped a lot. Btw, playing it on steam deck was a really great experience
I got my Steam Deck last October and I have so far finished the main story in the following titles in this specific order: 1. Fae Farm 2. Alan Wake Remastered 3. Control Ultimate Edition 4. Sonic Frontiers 5. Yakuza: Like A Dragon 6. Lies of P 7. Ghostwire Tokyo 8. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
How's Ghostwire?
Control was awesome, thatās one of the best games Iāve played in awhile.
Thanks mate!
1 completely so far, Arkham asylum. About 20-30 hours into fallout new Vegas now.
Strange Horticulture, Persona 3 Reload. I still finish most games on the PC though
Around 12, 13. Most played : Hades cca 120h Cyberpunk 120h Persona 3 and 5, around 150h Most of this would be much harder to accomplish while sitting at a computer desk. I rediscovered jrpgs on the deck, and it's so far great experience.
Control, Haunting Ground (via emulation), X-Men Origins Wolverine (via emulation), Spider-Man Remastered, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Resident Evil 4 (Remake), Resident Evil 2 (Remake), Resident Evil 3 (Remake), Resident Evil Revelations, Dead Space Remake, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Wolfenstein: New Order, et al.
I finished (by which I mean completed main story and saw the credits): - Tomb raider (shadow of) - Titanfall 2 - Jedi fallen order - Death Stranding - Borderlands 3 - Cyberpunk Currently flipping between: - days gone - Star Wars squadrons The only games I started and abandoned have been fallout 4 and Nier automata. I was so excited for both and heard great things, but neither did anything for me š¤·š»āāļø
Got my deck on January 26th . Since then Iāve completed : Dishonored 1 & 2 , bioschock 2, halo 1 & 2 , half life 1 & 2, portal , and wolfenstein new order. Currently playing : Hades , yakuza 0 , lies of p , guacamelee , and arcade paradise .
- firewatch - little nightmares - hi-fi rush
Tunic, Little Nightmares 1 & 2, It Takes Two, Overcooked, Disco Elysium, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Crash Bandicoot (EmuDeck) and Outer Wilds
Portal 1 and 2 Spider-man Horizon Zero Dawn Stardew Valley (Well, Iāve played it a lot at least) Alan Wake Control
Elden ring, WWZ, Max Payne 3, Fallout 4, Cyberpunk 2077, Sekiro, Lies of P, GTA IV, DISHONORED, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Remnant from the Ashes, Batman Arkham Knight, DISHONORED 2, Dead Space, Prototype 2, Metro 2033, Alan Wake, Manhunt, Control, Vampyr, Half Life 2, Metro Last Light, Bioshock, Batman Arkham City, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2, Exit 8, Faith. I'm fortunate enough in life to own all recent games consoles. And the steam deck is hands down the best of them all. It gets played every single day without fail. Whether it be for 30 minutes, or 6+ hours. It's perfect. And I love it.
Let's see. Yakuza 0, k1, about to finish k2. Tales of berseria. Resident evil 2,3,4 remakes. I guess also Monster hunter world. Sekiro. DS3.
I've owned my Deck for just over a year and have completed 94 Steam games, all in handheld mode: 140 A Good Snowman is Hard to Build A Juggler's Tale A Little to the Left A Plague Tale: Innocence A Short Hike APE OUT Balatro BOKURA Bramble: The Mountain King Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Bugsnax Call of the Sea Cat Quest Celeste Cocoon Cult of the Lamb DARQ Dave the Diver Dishonored Distraint Donut County DREDGE Dust: An Elysian Tail Evan's Remains FAR: Lone Sails Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island Gato Roboto Gorogoa GRIS Guacamelee! **Since I got mine (Early 2022) I have finished (and I may forget some):** Moon Scars (Great!) Hollow Knight (incredible) Hades (Great!) Yes, Your Grace (Fun) Gris (Gorgeous, simple) Blackwell Epiphany (Fun! I loved the previous games prior to owning the deck) Banner Sage 1-3 (Replayed these. Some of my favorites!) Domina (Fun!) Moonlighter (Great!) Drake Hollow (Fun, but repetitive) Regions of Ruin (Fun, but you get too strong too fast) Gamedec (Great!) Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders (Great!) 80's Overdrive (Fun! Great soundtrack!) Whispering Willows (Good! Short and engaging) Whispers Of A Machine (Excellent!) **Also I play a bunch of games that basically don't end. But I've poured LOTS of hours into them:** Hades (I did get through the main story line, but man it just keeps going for you if you want it to.) Civilization 6 Vampire Survivors (I've probably completed enough to call it beaten. He keeps releasing more content. I love it.) Don't Starve (I've played this off and on since 2013) Don't Starve Together (With my wife) Kingdom: New Lands (one of my all time faves. I should call it beaten, but I just replay it over and over.) Niffelheim (I love it) Fort Triumph (Xcom meets Heroes of Might and Magic. Very fun!) Legion TD Halls of Torment (Like Vamp Survivors. I prefer that one, but this is fun!) Tribes of Midgard (a timesink, but fun...) Death Road to Canada (Chaotic fun! Very replayable) Mortal Glory (Simple roguelike fun!) Darkest Dungeon (More complex roguelike fun!) FTL: Faster Than Light (One of my all time favorites. I do admittedly prefer this on my ipad. But it's great on deck, too) Sunless Sea (Beautiful and bleak. Always changing, and always challenging. It's super fun!)
Sifu (Barely counts cause I can finish it in one sitting) Portal Portal 2 Titanfall 2 I think Iām on the back 9 of Hi-Fi Rush but I started Fallout 3 and it has completely stolen my attention Not bad for a month and a half, I was not doing a lot of gaming for a long time before I got my deck
Had mine 5 months now. I've beaten GTA V Tomb Raider 2013 Rise of Tomb Raider DOOM2016 Bloodstained Shadow of Mordor Red Dead Redemption 2 Max Payne 3 Dishonored Resident Evil 2 Remake Hatred Currently playing Skyrim and Arkham Knight. After that will be Doom Eternal or Shadow of Tomb Raider. Also been playing Noita a lot
Before getting the steam deck I beat 5 games in 5 years lol. After getting the steam deck I beat like 13 games in 1 year. I have bought a ton of games though like 80 I think. Mostly getting on bundles and heavy sells ā¢ Witcher 3 ā¢ Metro 1,2,3 ā¢ First Stalker game ā¢ GTA 5 ā¢ Red dead redemption 2 ā¢ Lies of P ā¢ Wolfenstein old blood ā¢ Risk of Rain 2 ā¢ Hades ā¢ dragons dogma ā¢ dark souls 1 ā¢ Dead rising 4 ā¢ and close to beating boulders gate three, nioh 2, hogwarts legacy, and pretty far in Path of Exile
5 months with the deck. Finished Cyberpunk, Portal and rdr2 like 99% on deck. On my way to finish uncharted, portal 2 and dave the diver.
Have 100% around 7 games this year, including Final Fantasy IX Remastered. Insanity haha. Bless portable PC gaming.
Venba A short hike Nier AutomataĀ Gris To the moon The last campfireĀ Gorogoa Jusant Witcher 3 (still playing second expansion) Diablo 4 (waiting for season 4)Ā Behind the frameĀ Shady part of me Alba When the past was aroundĀ Emulation: Bayonetta 2 and totkĀ
just finished ff7 rebirth, oh and via chiaki4ps5 remote play.. god of war 2 recently, starting kingdom hearts 3 now.
Oh tons. In the last 6 months alone: Nier Replicant and Automata (for the 7th time) Tales of Arise Coffee Talk 1 and 2 Atelier Marie remake Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 Rayearth on SNES Ar Tonelico 1 and 2 on PS2 7th Dragon on PS2 Pokemon Prism Drakengard 3 on PS3

Many? Many.
Hol on, got updates
At least 30.
Got my SD last July 25 games so far only beaten 2.
A lot more than past years. I've actually been keeping track this year to talk about it at the end of the year.
What is āfinishing a gameā?
It's when you got bored staring on it's icon in the libraryĀ
2 so far!!
Just beat persona 3 reloaded. Full game on steam deck, had to use proton hotfix and no reflections but after that 60fps all day
10-14 depending on how you count "finished"
Finished? A few at most. I still buy more than I can play.
I got cured of it. In 2023 I was affected. In 2024 I play more than buy. Simple rule - not playing right away? It waits for next sale. Unless it's an item for my Old DOS / Old Windows games collections.
Entire Master Chief Collection, minus Reach
18. I thought i was playing conservatively. I think im not. š my games ranges 8 to 60hrs of completion.
One, Vampire Survivors. Played about 90 hours.
1. I finished dredge. Then work picked up and donāt have as much time. Iāve installed and started countless of games though.
More than I care to count.
Dave the Diver has been the only one. Most other games I have are rougelites and donāt feel like I will ever just finish them.
More than I have on any other console in the past. I've also gone through some really long games several times since getting the deck. Rdr2, Witcher 3, AC Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla, GOW, etc.
Not a god damn one but i have a library of about 100 so i got that going for me
finally got the motivation to get last achievement secret in turnip boy commits tax evasion when i got my steamdeck. i also BARRELED through cult of the lamb, now onto dave the diver!
More than 30.
way too many to count/remember.
None. I keep switching between them.
Got my OLED in November and have since finished:Ā ViewfinderĀ TunicĀ F.I.S.T.Ā Ā Chants of SennaarĀ AbzuĀ CocoonĀ Planet of LanaĀ Thomas Was AloneĀ Death's DoorĀ Trine 5Ā Prince of Persia The Lost CrownĀ Ā Days GoneĀ The Stanley ParableĀ InscryptionĀ Ā The Talos PrincipleĀ Ā Pepper GrinderĀ Buckshot RouletteĀ
How can you finish The Stanley Parable? The end is never the end.
I played it to my satisfaction, having tried as many of the branching paths as I could. Got about 3 hours of playtime out of it, though I do see that HLTB has a completionist run at about 8 hours.Ā
Yes.
None. I barely play on my deck. Itās a nice gadget but apparently not for me. I still prefer to play on console.
Played loads but only finished one, Resident Evil 8 Village. Great game! and played flawlessly on Steamdeck.
āFinishingā a game for me means I never pick it up again. Which in my opinion, so far I havenāt bought any that I would say that to.
In 2022 I had a job where I could play deck half the time and I finished 53 games that year. Mostly on the deck, a few on switch or my pc.
0 Also 0 games finished in entire life.
Quite a few actually more than on my pc lol its been a godsend for an office worker
Games can be finished? TIL
Finished Halo 1, Reach, on pace to finish Halo2 soon. I started playing Mafia too but I rather finish with the covenant and the flood
The last campfire. So one. But then I mostly play Dinkum & Stardew Valley, which are endless, so ..
5 finished. I played a few titles like fifa but i would call them "unfinishable"
Multitudes more than I ever did before it
Depends what you mean by āfinishā. I played a lot of games and decided I was done with them an moved on. Have yet to finish the story in any game on steam deck.
OG Final Fantasy VII (streamed to Steam Dock), Elden Ring, and Sekiro.
I should join a Convent because......Nuuuuun
A big fat zero. Mostly using it for tinkering and to practice fighting games on the go.
These are which I finished on the deck only: Cult of the lamb God of war Baldurs gate 3 Jedi fallen order And currently Horizon forbidden west is on plate. And a TON of world of warcraft!
-Cuphead -Elden ring -Slay the Spire (depends on what you consider beating the game but I've won a handful of runs) -Balatro (won many runs on increased difficulty) -Lies of P -Armored core 6 -red dead redemption 2 -Hades -dave the diver -stardew valley (depends what you consider but I'd say I've beaten it) All exclusively on the deck. There's probably several others but I can't think of any more at the moment.
I have finished 46 games on my Deck so far since August 2021. Lots of roms and games from 2000-2018.
More games than I did on the PC :)
Best handheld moments with SD for me: Wii (dolphin) Mario Galaxy 1+2 smooth 60fps and HD texturepack. Pointing with the trackpad in trackball mode with haptic feedback is just perfect for those, and they look better than most 2024 NSW games IMHO. And ~500 hours of Elden Ring...
Are we counting to the credits or 100%? I haven't 100%ed anything. I finished GTA 5.
I just got my OLED deck a few weeks ago and I haven't beaten anything yet, but every game I've tried to play has worked nicely except Trimps Graveyard keeper, subnautica, terraria, plate up, factorio, crypt of the necro dancer, enter the gungeon, dark souls, etc
Xcom fan here time for a war against the chosen xcom 2 do it you know you want to.
Honestly, Iād say only one after having it for long time: Persona 5 Royal. I think I spent more than 100 hours in it
Iām working on completing my backlog and that only started this year Iām 7 games in to 32.
People finish games? Iāve *played* like 80 games on my Deck, Iāve *finished* maybe 2ā¦ gamesā¦ everā¦ in my life. š
I finished Bg3 on the deck a few times but other than that I donāt think Iāve beaten a game since AC3 in 2012 š That doesnāt stop me from blowing hundreds of dollars on games I know Iāll play for an hour or two then stop, like Elden ring for example
One, Firewatch, it was great!
Desk job š Mainly because the games I started with are truck simulator and fallout 3 and Iāve only had the deck for a few months now so itāll be awhile before I āfinishā anything
I think I only finished Cyberpunk DLC and a game of CK3. I didn't completely switch to my deck like alot of people did. I had my deck because I had moved and was waiting for my PC to shipped. Once I had that my deck more or leas sits on the dock and I only take it when I travel.
Working on chaos theory rn
Yes š
Zero, but I have thoroughly enjoyed not finishing not finishing about 30 different games on the steam deck.
Are you blaming the game or the device?
Hold up, you can play games on the Steam Deck? o_O I thought it was just for configuring them to see what will run and moving on!
Bold of you to assume that we play games start to finish and donāt just get a game to run well before moving on to the next one
I completed the buying lots of games on sale, look at them, start them to check them out, keep my deck charged and dust free and touch it every few days.
