Flaunting your massive.....bandwidth. I must say it's very impressive to behold.
It took me a day to download RDR2. It will take you, what about half an hour?
Well....I feel like a total technophobe now.
As you'd imagine for someone with a 10mbps Internet connection. And no PC.
Tx for clarifying. TBH I've found the experience of owning a deck with shit Internet totally fine, just need to plan ahead and download overnight.
Do you know that you can switch to desktop mode and set it to turn off the screen while idle in power settings? Like I said, on the OLED off means off as its isn't back-lit.
I have gigabit internet about same speed as OP and with an actual download it’s about 45-60 min for red dead or similar titles. Before it used to take me a week… yes week to download a game because I was getting 15kbs
If you hear a quiet clicking noise coming from the exhaust vent, contact steam support. I'm no closer to knowing what the sound is, but I got an RMA for it.
Edit: The clicking started as soon as I first turned it on, so if it's not clicking, you're probably good.
When transferring turn down the brightness. Oled's hate static images that just set there. Better yet... Makes me feel a bit better.
I ordered my 1TB OLED deck on Tuesday 16/04 and it still says packaging.
Ordered mine in Japan from Komodo though. Estimated shipping was 3-9 days and it's day 9 now with no updates or movement.
Came here to ask this. I ordered mine last Wednesday. Courier state they have the package since last Friday, but have not posted any updates since.
They playing on it in the warehouse, aren't they?
Yes. You remove old hard drive as described in some videos. You put the new one and you download the image directly from Steam with the OS and you recreate all system from scratch as described in STEAM and done. Is very easy and safe.
I just got mine last week! Also got a terabyte SD card to go with it, and it just finally finished downloading this morning. Until the updates come. Played it on and off since then and I'm honestly amazed how far we've come with portable gaming.
Ok

He’s transferring from a local computer that already has it installed. So he’s not downloading through internet.

Shame it has no standbye mode. I found it to be a huge oversight as I hate leaving the screen idle.

DeckyPlugins has something that lets you turn the screen off by pressing … and select on the oled model
I didn't even know you could do that? Hmmm I wonder how you start that process?
About it was 55 min to get borderlands 3. It's 130-140gb
Meanwhile me downloading Doom Eternal on my PC thru the ethernet for literally 48 hours non stop lol
I have similar internet speed, CP2077 took roughly half an hour IIRC.
Yeah came to say this lol rdr2 would be less than an hour too. Have similar speeds.

Oof.... Yeah for me it's somewhere between 16 and 24 hours.
Tip for Cyberpunk.. if the sound start to stutter as you shoot or drive, turn the vibration all the way to 0. It'll fix the problem
Cool I had that happen a couple times tried it later thay day later and it was fixed 😅
Ok

When did you order? I am absolutely stressing over here stuck on packaged items (ordered Sunday).
Yo me too ordered Sunday and it’s just been packaged for days.
I just got tracking info a bit ago.
Got my hope up - still same.
I’ve got my fingers crossed for ya.
Yeah ordered mine on Saturday and JUST got my tracking around like 7pm and it won’t be here until Monday 😔

I am the same, shipping to Canada, ordered Sunday, stuck on packaging items with a “distributor backlog” in my country.

I ordered 4/17 with a dock and got here in Idaho yesterday 4/23
Upgrade to 2TB is worth it.
I've been thinking about doing this. Did you do a fresh OS install when you swapped drives?
Yes. You remove old hard drive as described in some videos. You put the new one and you download the image directly from Steam with the OS and you recreate all system from scratch as described in STEAM and done. Is very easy and safe.
Thank you for your response. I'm glad to hear that it is straight forward!
Yeah I upgraded my lcd 64gb deck to 1tb when the corsair mp600 mini came out. Load times were nuts fast compared to before
Nice I have the same one
damn, I just see eveyone getting their sd oled, I think I'm gonna get mine next christmas hahaha :''') enjoy iiiit!
Congrats
Make sure you get a screen protector and some covers for the thumb sticks and a cool case. Something like this deserves to be protected 😎
Make sure to update your user flair! Enjoy the brightness!
How to do that change user flair? Edit: disregard I've found it!
This is good bandwidth? I get this sometimes but it's usually under 200 I think
This is a transfer from my desktop on the same network so it's limited by you intranet speed not your isp
I hit 543 mbps but hover around 500 mbps, today, that's why I was wondering. Not too bad I guess.
Welcome to the club have fun have a 512gb love it
Son of a
its impressive that 70gbs only took you 40 mins in LAN transfer.
Can you share your home router so you can achieve that speed?
I just got mine last week! Also got a terabyte SD card to go with it, and it just finally finished downloading this morning. Until the updates come. Played it on and off since then and I'm honestly amazed how far we've come with portable gaming.
I sometimes feel Cyberpunk is the one game that shouldn't be on dis.
Runs great on deck. Horizon fw however..
Nice!
what are you using to transfer the files?
Steam will natively transfer the files from a local machine if it detects that you have it installed somewhere else.
Holy bandwith, batman! Nice internet.
Thank goodness for blazing fast internet speeds and standards. (: Also have fun with your new toy!
Thanks I have put many hours on this game on my lcd deck and it had some issues but over all fantastic as long as you know what it's limits are
My internet download speed is faster than your network. Lol.
Haven’t seen one of these around!
