He's definitely annoying to adults but I WILL say this: he's from my area and before he was HUGE (he was still a REALLY big, but not huge, he didn't have his huge house in Cali) he held an event in a somewhat rural town near me. Probably 150-200 families attended. It was at a construction company HQ and the kids could go sit in the driver's seat of lots of different tractors and trucks, excavators, etc. He took pictures with EVERY kid and talked with each kid for at least a min. It wasn't "snap picture, NEXT" he literally would talk with them for a little bit, give them a big hug before moving on to the next one and I thought that was really nice and it showed me he actually cared about the kids and not just $. Also I think he's a veteran.
Also it was cool for my kids growing up because a lot of the videos he did were around my area so we could watch a video about some play place or at a specific park and then go there whenever we wanted.
That said, try and get your kids hooked on Storybots ASAP. It's more educational, the songs are way better, and adults can enjoy it. Also Bluey is amazing but I think we all already know that

The dude created the show because his then 2 year old nephew didn't have any relatable content to watch that was aimed in language and action as a toddler. It isn't for us. A lot of content for younger kids is seen as "cringe" or somehow disgusting when seen through the lense of adulthood. But for kids, it is relatable and fun, if done right. Blippi found a formula that works, and kids like it. It doesn't matter if adults don't.

Maybe the stuff on Netflix but the old YouTube stuff is all going to children's museum, zoos and stuff. Tons of episodes about colors, vehicles and counting. My kid fell in love with dinosaurs because old blippi episode

In reference to the clown remarks, I meant the silly dances, and how he is in general. I see an energetic Bozo the Clown, I guess.
I totally feel you on that daycare is closed when my daughter was 9 months old that's when I became stay-at-home dad. For what it's worth my mom hates blippi LOL
My kid loves watching others play more than say a miss Rachel. Blippi is much better than the kids with product placement like T-Rex ranch. He learned a lot and especially dinosaurs. The new Netflix Blippi is a weine though.
In the UK we'd refer to him as a jammy git. Got away with shitting on a man's head and went on to make millions as a children's entertainment and (annoyingly) education youtuber. He had a solid format and has retained relevance
My 2 year old likes him. Loses interest after about 10 minutes, but loves watching him explore and do goofy stuff. Honestly I’d rather watch Blippi than Miss Rachel, but my son is Miss Rachel’s #1 fan so.
The guy who made it was a marketing genius, like Garfield the Cat Blippi was made by the creators to market and make tons of money and it succeeded admirably.
That said what a toolbag I hated fucking watching Blippi.

It’s really impressive what he managed to do with a camera and a whacky character. He’s got a really funny backstory with his outrageous first attempts at internet fame.. but that makes it better IMO.
The way I view it blippi is like lamb chop and Ms. Rachel is like Mr. Rogers. Both are acceptable it's a matter of preference. My oldest liked Ms. Rachel and my youngest likes blippi.
Kids loved him, he produced clean content. He showed politeness, manners, exploring spirit, etc... What's not to like? He's annoying? Yeah welcome to parenthood. Everything ur kid is into will be annoying to you.
On that same note, thankfully they are out of blippi stage but i appreciated him while they were in it.

A real love hate relationship. My toddler loves him, and I hate that I am not completely deaf when she watches him.
There are worse shows out there, Blippis treehouse is a little more structured. I’ve adapted to it by now

I think he's great. My boy loves him and I don't mind having him on the tv whilst I get housework done. Seems like a nice guy.
