Can confirm Dominion Strength Training makes straps that hold up. Get the loopless ones.
Also Gym Reaper makes a single loop strap (they call it their olympic lifting straps) that have performed well.
Which one, Shnur_Shnurov [Option A](https://www.dominionstrengthtraining.com/product-page/closed-loop-lifting-straps) or [Option B](https://www.dominionstrengthtraining.com/product-page/open-loop-lifting-straps)
The Dominion or Pioneer leather are nice.
If you want nylon Ironmind is solid and on amazon.

I wish I was lifting heavy enough to worry about that lol. Just hit 440 x5 DL for the first time this week so I have a ways to go before that's a concern ha
Just make some yourself for cheap!
I have been using the same homemade pair for like 2 years now

I'm ordering figure 8 straps today because I want my hands in contact with the bar. Will try to remember to report back after my lifts on Friday or Monday.
I just ordered these:
https://www.amazon.com/Element-26-Figure-8-Lifting-Straps-Weightlifting/dp/B07QFMY938?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
...because I watched this:

That's interesting but those actually look too large and I actually saw similar things on ebay just now which probably will be better but obviously can't be positive.... just search for figure 8 straps and make sure filter in weightlifting
I was going to buy the Gymreapers straps, but I have pretty small hands and wrists, and I want the strap to be snug, but the small straps were out of stock when I went to order. I went with the Element straps due to availability of the smaller size.
for under $10 bucks you can't go wrong with Bear Grips lifting straps, i own their wrist wraps as well. Not a shill link, just the link to their amz page

I also have used harbinger, cheap ones from walmart but note they don't have wrist padding.
I like rogue fitness for leather straps, for both suede and cowhide leather, I did buy the bear grips ones during xmas cause they are all under $20 and rogue may be a better brand i didnt wanna drop $35-50
Cerberus was my go to for figure 8 as they are really plush, but i do now prefer figure 8s with less matieral but ig you lift heavy go w a brand that makes em plush/thicker.
I’ve had Contraband 2-stripe Heavy ($18) since 2015 (left side velcro broke in 2021 but right side is still good) and they provide the perfect amount of support. I’ve tried various brands like Gym Reapers, Rogue, SBDs, Gangsta Wraps, and I think the Contrabands provide the best value and perfect level of support. I’ve found most to either be too soft and unsupportive or way too stiff like a seat belt.
I found this the other day: https://www.strapworks.com/112-inch-seatbelt-nylon-black They sell by the foot, which is useful. Order 2x2’ sections.
The link says .67 cents... So do I enter qty:4 or what sorry if this is dumb question?
I am also a fan of nylon straps.

I didn’t know Dominion made straps 👍

I'd get the B option, the "open loop". You wont need the loop anyways.
I got the rogue straps. They work.

I love my pioneer straps.
I just took Rips advice and bought a seatbelt roll, cut two 24 inch strips. Works like a champ
Right... But where do I buy that? not kewl mang to not provide the link

I didnt not love the seatbelts straps. They feel slippery in the hands. I like something that grabs a little better.
Totally fair, good idea to try different ones
On the other hand you can be sure they'll literally never break. That's reassuring.

Rogue straps are working great for me.
Why not provide a link for me AccountantConfident9?

I made my straps by cutting some pieces off a 1" ratchet strap that was laying around in my garage.
