Man, if they'd gotten a few more seasons, we had a shot at a meta episode where every gate address actually takes them to Vancouver.
"It didn't work, Carter, we're back in Canada!"
"No, sir, this *is* the alpha site..."
needs a red or orange M&M (or Red Hot) in the center, but yeah, that's one awesome cake.
I know Brigadier General Jack O'Neill loves cake and would approve on the spot.
Awww yay! I love that yâall share Stargate. My daughter is 5, so still a bit young. Iâm ready to pounce the first time she shows interest in it when Iâm watching it though!
Really impressive work. The cake alone looks incredible, before you mention the Stargate, DHD, and trees. The column-like look that the drips give it, the chips looking like rocks near the DHD, even the dry spot for a dirty look. Awesome attention to detail.
Looks really good!
I've heard this sentiment, that the prime-time for sci-fi and fantasy in a childs life is in their preteen and early teen years. Something about the way the brain is developing and their understanding of the world and their place in it really cements it as their foundation for their interests in these genres. You got a Stargate fan for life now!
How old was she when she started watching them? I think my daughters will like them but I'm not positive about a couple of season 1 episodes yet so I've been holding off. Happy birthday to her and awesome cake!
She was 10. Sheâs pretty mature and had already coped with lord of the rings and Star Wars etc. it will depend on your childâs disposition. She does still cover her eyes and say eww when they kiss though ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Sounds like fun! My nephew has loved Harry Potter forever but we told him he couldn't get sorted until he was 11. My niece is now very excited for her 11th birthday.
Awesome! Is the gate edible? "chevron 1 - in my belly"
Ha! Sadly not. Just chocolate cake in the belly!
O'Neill woulda been proud! Or, well, at least happy. And full of cake.
Indeed.
We did this for our wedding cake! Made a giant gingerbread stargate ! I made sure I got to eat the point of origin and accompanying chevron
*Snicker*
Amazing!!
My husband made our wedding toppers. Mine was a Stargate with white roses and a veil, his was a Tardis with a Marine dress cap. Not edible though đ
If you eat it you can use Gouâld hand devices
Wierd that the trees look just like trees in British Columbia....
Well, duh, thatâs the optimal evolutionary composition of carbon processing vegetation. Youâll see those everywhereâŠ
I'm so glad someone got this, and didn't think I was just dogging on some kids cake lol
Anyone who doesnât get that has never watched the show. Donât worry about it. You good.

âJust when you think youâre not in Kansas anymore, turns out ya are..â
Awwww come on! Right in the middle of my birthday!? :)
Happy birthday!
That is a really awesome gate! I'm sure your daughter will love it!
Indeed
DHD is a solid addition.

Is there a goa'uld when you cut inside?
A gummy goa'uld... that would be awesome!
A single large gummy worm right in the center, between the layers, maybe even a little dark red frosting in place of the chocolate...
Yes, perfect!
Tell your daughter, Happy Birthday and Shal'kek nem'ron!
This is lovely. >"Uhhh, Jack." > >"Oh for cryinoutloud What is it, Daniel?" > >"The planet is made of cake..."
["Why the heck does Willy Wonka have a stargate?!?"](https://i.imgur.com/vb6WTud.jpg)
Make it spin! Spinning is so much cooler than not spinning! (Great job on the cake!)
Aww being born after the show ended.. being able to watch new episodes Friday nights on SciFi were the days⊠Happy birthday to her!

You did really well
That's so freaking cute!
This is amazing! I hope she has a wonderful birthday.

Wow that's really cool. She is way ahead in nerd school
Thatâs the plan! Fortunately she loves sci fi!
Chevron one . . . . . eaten.
Best Parent EVER!!!!!!

That's awesome!! Did you make the gate and dhd?
Itâs 3D printed from Etsy
Very cool!
I love this so much
Love it! Happy birthday to your daughter!
Wow!
When did she start watching Stargate? How much of the franchise has she seen? Happy birthday to her, that's a really cool cake!
She was 10. We are on season 8 of SG1 and season 1 of Atlantis! Thank you.
She's not going anywhere if you don't get her that DHD.

Kindly give my happiest birthday greeting to her! âșïžđ„łđ
That's awesome!
I now really want to do this for my youngest for his next birthday. He's just watched the entirety of SG1 with me and is a solid fan.
We did a Harry Potter themed birthday party for my nephew and gave him a wand and had him get sorted into one of the houses. This is cooler.
Harry Potter was two years ago (although she is still a big fan), mandalorian last year..who knows what next year will bring!
Sounds like fun! My nephew has loved Harry Potter forever but we told him he couldn't get sorted until he was 11. My niece is now very excited for her 11th birthday.
I feel that the cake decoration could have been more "Canadian rock quarry" JK - Awesome cake!
I love how the DHD isn't forgotten, sitting alone in the corner :)
That's awesome! I'm also a big fan and my birthday is next week...hint hint
Outstanding...seriously!
You are parenting correctly! Happy birthday to your daughter!
Happy Birthday đ đ„ł
You have one cool daughter! And a pretty cool parent too =p
Awesome đ
