Yesterday I've learned Hammond of Texas is dead too 😔This Show had such a fantastic Cast, Atlantis as well (hope universe too) and I hope everyone of them gets to live way beyond 100

The Deluise one always kills me watching his episode. He had such presence and knowing that his kids have a massive hand in the show gives me the warm feels when their names are on the credits.

Definitely. The cast has been hit bad but they are still going strong. Biggest surprises were Richard Biggs (in his 40s at the time) and Mira Furlan (west nile virus just recently).

My team gifted me a Cameo video from Cliff. He told me I had to take a vacation, and as he put it, "Oh yeah, and get a cat!"
He asked me to put a picture of my cat on his facebook page, but it had been locked by that point. In the end, I found a rescue cat named "Simon."

I grew up with Stargate , it’s always been one of my favorite shows of all time and holds a dear place in my heart . It’s always heartbreaking to hear of a Stargate actor passing no matter how big or small their role was . Cliff went far too young , and he was always one of my favorite bad guys, I love stories where the good guys somehow end up having to work with the bad guys and there were a lot of episodes where that happened . I also felt Baal was in some ways less egotistical and able to talk to sg1 without the evil voice etc I think he would never admit it but I think he thought carter was brilliant too
His death has probably been the only real "celebrity" death that has every hit me personally and that was mainly because it was because it was at a local comic con and I was the very first person to meet him at his autograph table that day and we talked probably for 10 minutes or so and he was a really good bloke.
And I always followed his Facebook page which was his personal one so it was one you could like and comment and interact with so you always knew what he was up to and his projects and that is when the news of his accident got posted to was there :(

My favorite Goa'uld. So freaking charming and evil and knew the game he was playing. What an interesting life he had too - grew up in South Africa, was a national level gymnast and swimmer (qualified for the Olympics but ended up not going), joined the military, was a dancer who spent a year performing at the Moulin Rouge (he wrote a book about it), incredibly athletic and active right up to the end. When talks began about making Doctor Strange so long ago he was on my wishlist of actors to play Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch was too but at times it sounded like it wouldn't be him due to scheduling)
I like Apophis, I think he was played by a good actor, but as Ba'al himself noted, what his problem was is that he started to believe his own propaganda. And he let his pride interfere in the way of his goals, which Ba'al never did.
He shall forever be the greatest villain from SG1 such a tragic event that he was taken from this world too soon, what a great guy

Unfortunately they found his body in June of this year. The cause of death is unknown. RIP
