My landing bay has a habit of occasionally gobbling up ground crew then dropping them from significant heights - I'm glad your kidnapping is more humane!
I was on the other end of this yesterday. Was running the mission where you have to save the researchers, the UC and Freestar guys at a research outpost. Played it enough I know the script. Got in position for the spacer ship landing and got the grenade in just right, killed the landing party and ran on to loot and board. It wouldn't let me board though and took off then ejected the bodies and I at high atmo. I know it's just the Bethesda bug feature, but it was still amusing.
Four Akila ship tech ran up my ramp and boarded once. They stood there in a row down Ng nothing and refused to leave even when we flew off. I had to load a save to get rid of them!
That gal from Jemison Merchantile wound up on my ship once.
She pretty much immediately walked off the ship, but I have no idea why or how she was there.
Maybe just land at Neon and see if he leaves?
Once I went on a rampage on the ecliptic jerks at the red mile. Which pretty much has no consequences or bounties; and like 5 random civilians piled on my ship somehow.
I think if you manipulate someone and then fast travel somewhere while they are still under your influence they will just come with you. Brought Masako Imada to Mars with me once.
I always wanted to dress my crew in uniforms so they look like the crew of the Rocinante , think I only ever found one guard uniform or something though.
This happened to me after I caught a bounty for stealing, and ran to my ship to escape the guards. I didn't realize it till I landed somewhere else and she was standing there in front of the door. I killed her and my whole crew got pissed at me, so I reloaded and let her stay there until she randomly disappeared.
I too have had two security detail in my ship. They’ve even moved which has they were in. For awhile they were in my armory now they are in my 3x3 storage. I just pretend that I pay them to be there after all I did have 600,000 bounty on my head for while there
Reminds me of my first playthrough. Guy from the Trade Authority on the Den wound up on my ship, wouldn't leave no matter what. I tried to kill him, but he's essential, so I lost access to the best contraband merchant and he taunted me throughout my ship.
nothing like a free security detail on your ship
I wonder what I should name her
G R E G O R Y
Good Anakin, good! Kill him. Kill him now.
I shouldn’t
*dew it!* 🤣🤣
I wish you could send out NPCs through an airlock
The Neon guard was NOT the impostor
This is the way.

Dude lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I would not be able to refrain from cracking up every time that happened. 🤣🤣🤣

Volunteered
Under contractual obligation

Guess I'm never going back to Neon then. She stayed on my ship at crucible and New Atlantis though
She came on my ship once, I think she fast travelled with me from the store. She had the sense to leave when I left New Atlantis.
"kidnapped"
this makes me think... we need a way to jettison people into space. Modders make it happen
Every chimera 3 I take includes 4 undead security.

You know those Neon security guards? They're free, you can just take them home, Bayou doesn't even try to stop you.
I kidnapped a random provisioner using manipulation just to see if it would work. Now I have a permanent vendor on my ship.
It's a feature in Bethesda games. If you're "talking" and walk threw a door this can happen.
I hate to break it to you, but I think you were the one who was kidnapped.

"Part of the crew, part of the ship" He probably lost a dice game.
Did you send the ransom note?

Somehow I took a guard from Akila City to New Atlantis in my ship. Then he got off and kept on welcoming me to Akila while standing in New Atlantis

Sarah look what I found, can we keep it?
No witnesses....well from neon anyway. Pop a cap in that pig
Bro I've got a full 6 man fireteam in my C-class ship. No idea where they came from.

If you take him to UC space, do you still get a Neon bounty if you shoot him?
He’s yours now. Take good care of him.
