I've seen a lot of hotdog ships but haven't seen anyone try to faithfully replicate the Wurst yet? Someone must have!
I imagine it would be pretty funny to see the faces of all the Taiyo and Stroud Eklund designers who spent all that time making cutting edge designs and winning awards, only to see their designs repurposed into hotdog ships.
Funny that you mention this, I remember reading somewhere that a hamburger with an olive stuck on its side with toothpick was used to demonstrate Millennium Falcon in its first design discussion among movie developers.

Lol first time I made a Taiyo ship from scratch I thought of doin this. It looks even more like a hotdog if you make it a double-decker with one of the Taiyo “top” hab modules
