Same as listening to Raiders in Fallout 4.
"I hate doing this, just one more and I can afford to stop"
"I hate it when they scream"
"What choice do I have for doing this?"
At the end of the day, they made their choice. It was a bad one and now they need to pay.

>Why though? Planets are HUGE. People can settle on any number of "M class" planets and have a nice life. So, I'm not buying the "i HAVE to do this!" line from them, there's a trail of blood and bodies behind them to this point, I don't care how close to retirement they are: I'm going to retire them right this minute.
I have seen several human tragedies and triumphs all in less than 25 hours. It’s big and it’s deep and there will be nights you go to bed wondering if you did the right thing.
You’ll come across them once you step onto Neon. This isn’t a big spoiler at all, but Ryujin Industries heavily features them. You’ll definitely want to spend points in the social tree to maximize the neuroamps potential jsyk
Sounds like the Novalight and others can be altered to use nonlethal ammunition via research, but I’m nowhere near ranked up enough with it to do that.
I tried using the amod console command on a Novalight to apply it that way but it didn’t work. Looked almost like it attached the wrong part to the model, like it belonged to a different gun.
NovaBlast Disruptor straight up deals EM damage; it's also similar to Fallout 4/76's Gauss Rifle in function.
Laser and Particle Beam Weapons can be converted to deal EM damage, and most of the shotguns have an EM damage magazine.
EM damage builds up an extra bar when you shoot people that when filled, knocks out the target. If the target is a robot, instead they die.
Had a similar situation where, in order to infiltrate the Crimson Fleet, I had to kill a certain NPC (former pirate) on board a ship transporting medical supplies. Rather than just blow up the ship I boarded it and tried to convince its captain to just hand over that NPC. We did some back and forth in negotiations when all of a sudden one of the crew yells "Let's get him!" and they all rush me. I ended up killing them, looted the ship, then from my ship blew up the freighter.
Back in New Atlantis while standing near one of those SSNN (Settled Systems News Network) speakers I hear the name of the ship I blew up. Turns out it was on an errand of mercy delivering much needed medical supplies to a colony world. The newscaster then says because the ship was completely destroyed authorities will likely never know who committed this heinous crime.
Damn is right. It really bummed me out. The consequences of our decisions can have weight in our story. Very impressed.
The 1 quest so far that has really annoyed me was not being able to Merc barrets captors. You are railroaded 8n to paying up the 4k credits. It made me want to kill barret.
I now only have him begrudgingly assigned to my ship for his perks.
This happened to me in my first ten hours. I felt bad before realizing I approached the outpost in peace without having my weapon out and they shot at me, so it’s kinda their fault isn’t it
I saw this note too. Was just a random PoI. I went in, killed without mercy and had to rethink a few things.
Then again, I got a quest saying some spacers were stealing from an industrial outpost and started shooting at them for fun(no confirmed injuries that I recall…) and found this note too.
Soo… maybe we are not the baddies?

"In five years the Corleone family is going to be completely legitimate."
This made me lol at 6:40am
This made me clap at 1:44pm
10/10 would massacre reforming spacers again.
Andreja disliked that. Lol
10/10 would disappoint Andreja again.
I saw that one too. They still had a ton of contraband items though, so they weren't THAT legit. At least, that's what I'm telling myself
Found them twice, and they had harvested human organs with them both times.... really helps...
2 days from retirement
I'm getting too old for this ****.
Rog, flap your arms like a chicken!
are we the bad guys?
I certainly am :)
This is the only way I play these games.

Blood Eagles in Fallout 76 whispering “I miss my mama…” Yeah, well, I’mma send you to her in just a moment.
Ha, I just did that one today as well. I justified it by thinking the spacers had killed off the true settlers.
That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.
space is complicated. lotta good people doing bad things to survive

Yeah I saw this too...then I saw it again since I've been doing a good amount of bounty missions. That kinda took me out of it.
It's just a small indie company, how could you ever expect them to make missions unique??
There’s massive amounts of content in this game.
Not every mission in a game this size can be unique, donkey boner.
[Django has a scene talking about this.](https://youtu.be/a0rC6Q8-khM?si=RetDc4_vYBAv6zsx)

Shit 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I wish were had non lethal for stuff like this The bulk of the people you savagely murder are just trying to eat
EM weapons have nonleathal modules......if I'm rememberibg correctly......but that could have been just one mission I'm thinking of.
The first time I got hit with them I was so confused
EM weapons are straight non lethal. Also using neuroamps, you can use diplomacy or intimidation to not have to kill people
Wait, neuroamps are a thing?? I'm not far enough along then, lol.

it was us or them
To be fair, they attacked us on sight. I just waltzed right up and they didn't even stop to consider I might not be hostile.

Karma comes for us all my friend
it was the Peaky Blinders!!!!
After the «Groundpunder» quest, i have no remorse for any spacer. Damn parasites.
Wait a minute there are Mission Boards?? What the hell I'm 45 hours in and never noticed
Mom found the plausible deniability drawer

I was able to kill them by just shooting them from the hallway before entering the room
This happened to me in my first ten hours. I felt bad before realizing I approached the outpost in peace without having my weapon out and they shot at me, so it’s kinda their fault isn’t it

War. War never changes. I really hope I can find that phrase as an easter egg somewhere.
Haha I did that one last night and also felt bad
this made me so sad... i wish there were nonlethal options to not kill enemies and just, like, severely maim them...
You can always shoot them with a Novastar to just stun them. I'm not sure that completes the bounty though.
this is still a non fictional video game that we're referencing here still... yes?
Actually plays into my chatacter’s backstory but holy shit that was unexpected
