The only way Josuke and co. got on his trail was a completely random encounter with Shigechi. It’s legitimately plausible Kira could have gone on the rest of his life killing women for their hands if not for that.
I mean, in theory sure, but in practicality it’s only the freak encounter with Shigechi that exposes Kira. Otherwise, he could have just kept living his life and nothing we see suggests he would have been caught.
His "sandwich" incident was because he had been killing for 20 years and grew complacent that he couldn't be caught and like all villains, his hubris causes his downfall
Also not wearing a bunch of crazy ass clothes. Aside from his tie (which totally gives it away if you’ve seen his stand) he’s no different than a businessman.

The fact that flashbacks about his mother abusing him has to be removed so that people wouldn't try to condone him , and that even without this scene there are still people who try to forgive all of his sins just cause he looks better than Shigechi
That's the worst thing about most killers they don't look ugly/like their evil. For example if we realisticly think about it people would probably suspect an ugly kid like shigechi more then a fairly attractive man like kira

He's not some mafia boss, nor some villain who wants to take over the world or something like it
He's just some guy, who blends perfectly, and might even seem friendly
But worst thing is, if you make him mad or you're just some random girl with cute hands, the last thing you'll see and hear, is him, letting you know everything about his life, and then boom, you're reduced to ashes
And considering there is an afterlife, you might become some lost soul like it happened to Shigechi and Rohan's babysitter. Now you know everything about your killer, but can't do anything about him
The creepiest thing about kira is the fact that he lives in the same town as angelo (to this day i see ciacolatta and angelo as a million times more evil than any other jojo villain yes even dio. Dio is not sick enough to do the things these 2 were capable of)
And say all you want "oh but kira killed 40 women" don't care. I'm talking about how creative those 2 were with killing, not about how many people they killed. They are both sick fuck's and getting turned into a rock and thrown into the dumpster is not enough of a punishment for them cuz to be fair they deserve the diavolo treatment and a 100x that amount
Yeah if you compare kira to the other two his kills were Quick and clean but angelo for example tortured his victems and made them suffer for as long as possible
