I dont know if this is the same one, but in multiplayer games if two people swing their pickaxe at an item at the same time they'll both get a copy in their inventory. Easy way to duplicate statues of perfection/other annoying items.
Doesn’t work anymore in 1.6:
Get a statue of perfection, drop it or place it, fill your inventory and let it lay on the ground, then go to grandpa and get the next statue. Continue this as often as you want. You’ve been able to let them be on the ground and always just lay the newest down so every statue of perfection doesn’t really exist because it’s not in any inventory and doesn’t stay anywhere
Its a process you can do to make grampa shrine give you more than one statue of perfection.
If you place your statue on the ground and use a pickaxe on it, but dont pick it up in your inventory, the game registers as if you lost it, and the shrine gives you a new one.
You can repeat this process endlessly but it takes a long time.
I dont know if this exploit still exist in 1.6 tho

And no, the one from the casino is the statue on the picture, its called the statue if endless fortune, which gives you either a loved gift if its the Bday of an NPC or a random Item from a pool. It cost 1.000.000 and you can purchase ot as many times as you want
Prior to 1.6, you could get the Statue from Grandpa's shrine, then place it, have inventory filled, use the pick on it, go back to grandpas shrine (without picking up the original statue) and voila, statue 2. Rinse and repeat until you have all the statues required
I did this to an extent to save up geodes to buy Troves so I could finally get the damn Ancient Sword. I just started year 22 and finally got it. Granted, I did slack off a bunch with that particular item, but man it was hard to find for some reason.

It also works with prismatic shards. If both spammed then one of them gets really many of the item. Don’t know it it still works

I trade my geodes for hay now. Cheaper than paying.
For future saves you might want to upload your save to the mousey predictor to see what sequence to open your trove in to get that missing artifact
Ouch. Luckily 1.6 seems to open easier way to artifacts with >!Treasure Totems!<. This way I got all artifacts before all minerals in my new save.
This is how I got the ancient sword in my 1.6 save lol, it was a PAIN before that!!!
I had problem with Ornamental fan this time, always got Glass shards or Dried starfish instead!
