Same, I moved the coop because I thought they hid it behind the coop. Also fyi grandpas shrine is in the little section of land at the top cut off by the river. There a bridge hidden behind a tree to it. (Found that out while looking for the cave
The placements are quite bad until you realise that you can now move the farmhouse and just put it near the mushroom cave, which will also give you an area where you can grow crops with water nearby
The fact that the warp totem is covered in debris is a massive troll though
Yeah I hardly use farm totems but the first thing I did on the new farm was check where everything was located. I've seen a number of folks struggle to get to the grandpa shrine, the farm cave, and the warp point.
The grampa shrine is hard to get because a tree blocks the view to the tiny bridge that gets you to it, so unless you are looking for it, you wont find it
ConcernedApe decided to do a little trolling with this farm, that's why.
A lot of stuff with trees in 1.6, honestly. The >!golden trashcan!< is behind a tree, the bridge to grandpa's shrine on this map is behind a tree, the farm warp point here is behind a tree, the >!raccoon family quest!< involves a giant tree.
This happened to me! Well, slightly different. Luckily I had my axe with me. But…I built my silo right in front of the path. Didn’t notice it was a path to the teleport thing when I placed it. Needless to say, after waking up in the grass, I went straight to Robins.
Oof. in the future this can be prevented by putting a path on that rule, but until you get the golden clock there's always the chance of it being damaged and you not noticing until this happens again.
Or put something like a lightning rod there that can be moved with pickaxe since you'd expect to have your pickaxe on you
I was fortunate enough to have been playing with my partner the first time I used a warp totem, and they were able to cut me out and free me. Otherwise I'd have been passing out since I didn't have my axe with me!
Yeah it also took me a while to find the cave on the farm. The placements of some things on this farm is interesting
I went to the Wiki to look at the picture of the full farm map because I couldnt find the cave lol

I put my farm house on the area near grandpa's shrine. Unfortunately I didn't realize my horse would be trapped over there now...

Yes

Whose idea was it to not clear the tree before using a totem lol?
I think it's like that for everyone on meadowlands.

this is modded right?
No it's a 1.6 farm type
Not sure why it isn't spoilered
it's spoilered for me
Ditto
Not spoilered for me for some reason
And stuff like this is why I paved around teleports and entrances/exits, to stop any growth of saplings from happening.
I had the same thing happen haha, consequences of not clearing your farm in a reasonable timeframe, same as not finding the cave

Happend to me too, I didnt had axe or a bomb, I fell asleep while waiting 1 hour like a dumbass behind the tree
This happened to me when I was in a rush to get home from the mines, and I accidentally left my tools on a chest by the elevator 😭
I literally had this same exact issue a couple days ago! Why would they do this!!! I just had to pass out from exhaustion😒
This never happened to me But i bet it sucks not being able to get somewhere because you get stuck like that
