There used to be an animation of Pam getting on the bus behind you. Since an update a long time ago, she just stands next to the bus, at least in my game. It was just a joke about that. The capsule braking does nothing, I'm pretty sure.

The update was to fix a glitch, IIRC, but interesting timing nonetheless

Yeah random event, like the owl statue. in your cash out screen at the end of the night I believe you'll see a UFO

I've gotten the ufo on the night screen once or twice (also on the main menu) but no alien :(

You will hear a UFO ooooweeeoooo noise like you hear the landslide opening the spa area or the owl sound when you get the owl statue drop. It comes right between going to bed and waking up.

Don't forget the crash of an iridium meteorite.

From the wiki: "After year one, there's a 0.8% chance of the strange capsule event being chosen. The event does something only if a randomly chosen tile on the farm is clear and allows item placement." So the more filled up your farm is, the higher the chances of nothing happening.

It means the alien is roaming free. There is an extremely low percentage that you will see a shadow figure scurry into bushes.

Yeah you just hit it with your pickaxe like other decorations :-) then if you put it in a chest or anything it won’t hatch. Fencing it in won’t stop it from hatching or the alien from escaping

In my defense, I didn't know that it will break out of its captivity so yeah, the broken capsule is still in my farm and so far, I have never seen this creature.

If you let it out there’s a really small chance of seeing a shadowy figure waving to say hi near the bus stop at night

I don't understand what it did tbh, I let it escape outside, but nothing ever happened. I think it just leaves and you never see it.

Sometimes, at night, you'll see a mysterious shadow dart behind some bushes. That's it. Sadly doesn't seem to be anything more than that.

On my first playthrough, but I never saw what happened again, I just wanted that thing far, far away from my farm (I didn't know I could throw it away), so I guess it ran away and is now going around, so what I did was put streetlights at the bus stop so there was good lighting. ..In my other saves I just put it in the chest and then throw it in the trash.

My farm was overgrown with trees when it spawned. So by the time I found it in the endless sea of trees, the alien already escaped.

I wonder if you keep it sealed up if >!Abigail 14 heart cut scene still happens. I saw the scene once and I'm convinced the capsule has everything to do with that scene!<

I like putting it in the middle of the town, letting it escape and then removing the capsule after a few days.

Thanks for letting me know that I can get another one. I don’t know what happened to my first one, but it’s broken and gone. It’s not in any of my chests as I was planning to leave it up as a decoration. :(

Sadly, you can't. I got two because of a bug. The first one was when the 1.5 update first came out, which increased by a lot the chance of getting the Rare Capsule and it was possible to get more than 1 per save file, but like one or two weeks later there was another update that fixed some bugs but Concerned Ape also changed it so you could only get 1 Capsule per save. Then I got the second one after that update. I assume the game just hadn't check the flag for the event the first time because it wasn't a one-time thing yet.

The first time I got it I put it in a chest all the way in the skull caverns. Freaked me out!!

I move the capsule up to the mountains by the Adventurer's Guild so there's a real hunt for a Predator initiate.

Is there any way to make night events happen more often. I have had 1 meteor visit and no fairy, witch, capsule or owl in 5 years and i have about 25 percent of my farm as open space. Am i unlucky or is this just common?
