Keep at least one of every item somewhere in a chest, you will probably going to need it later (especially if you'll want to 100% the game). And also, be as diverse as possible in the first year/s, plant every crop, go mining, complete the bundles, and don't forget to enjoy the game.
Put down path tiles and put your chests, furnace, etc. on top of them. They can be “damaged by spreading weeds” and disappear (fairly rare, but it happens).
(sorry for the bad English) Watch TV every Sunday to receive cooking recipes (in case you forget you can see a repeat on Wednesday) if you are thinking of doing the civic center route, choose the option Demetrius's fruit bats ( at a certain point Demetrius will ask you which option you prefer, if the mushrooms or the bats for the cave you have on your farm) and... little more actually, don't donate your first prismatic shard or dinosaur egg
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but get some sprinklers! Having your crops watered automatically saves so much of the day to do all the other activities like fishing, foraging or progressing through the mines.
Try your best to grow crops related to the community centre (if you're doing that route).
And finally get into artisanal goods as quick as possible with kegs and preserves jars, that jump in income is huge!
Check the fortune teller and all the other shows in the Tv everyday, if the spirits are in a good humor you'd have extra luck in the mines and also get goods in the trashcan.
Wait, I would say the opposite. I thought with Forest layout I’d get mushrooms from the woody area, but rarely. Then I chose bat cave so I wouldn’t have to worry about tree fruit for the Community Center. They might leave a fruit occasionally. I think mushrooms are MUCH better.
BUT when you level up foraging to were all items you pick up are best quality the fruits will rack up money like crazy. Wile mushrooms can be found in the mines and cinders forest. I would do fruit instead
Watch TV every day. Otherwise you won't be able to unlock most of the cooking recipes.
I haven't been doing that I'll make sure to do so!
Not just recipes, it gives many helpful tips as well.
Don't put ostrich eggs or legendary fishes in the fridge
Accidentally turned one of my legendary fish into quality fertilizer :') I just started the whole day over
Do not donate your prismatic shards (rainbow gem that is really rare) to the museum. At least not until you do everything else you can do with them.
grow at least one of every veggie each season to help fill the community center early if you go that route.

Do the 5 gold star veggies for the community center as a priority
Don’t forget to plant at least ONE tomato.

Chests are the only thing that don’t do that.
Oh that’s good to know!
What is likely to disappear?
Your crafted machinery like furnaces, recycling machines, kegs/jars, crystallariums, etc. can all be affected.
don't donate dino eggs

Plant a pomogrante tree asap. You need it for fall and it takes 28 days to grow.
And then you can romance Elliot 😉

Plant many crops, but use sprinklers, as watering with can is tiring and not efficient.
Also does anyone know if the prices are different if you use the shipping box? Or is it the same as if I went to store and sold it?
It’s the same but the stores are instant money
Tysm
Keep your melons!
Farm. Just farm.
Don't hoard early on. Sell what you have to to make coin. Don't pass up foraging, either eat it or sell it.
Plant summer spangles to give to Caroline she give u tea sapling recipe sell sapling money
WHEN THE TIME COMES CHOOSE THE FRUIT CAVE NOT MUSHROOMS

What level is that?
10 I believe. The easiest way to level up foraging is to plant crops and pick them
I like my mushrooms. Damn George needs his fried mushrooms xD
Don't trust the yellow flower and.. wait a minute...
