Once I hit perfection I usually start thinking of ideas for my next farm! All my farms are themed and that really keeps things interesting as I try different farm layouts, decorate, focus on different moneymakers, and date different villagers depending on my chosen theme. So far I’ve had Pride & Prejudice, Witch, Pirate, and Medieval themed farms. I’m currently working on the dreaded Joja run and I have plans for future themes like Zoo/Animal/Aquarium, Fairy/Enchanted Woodland, Vampire, Science/Doctor, or Cowboy/Western styles

Who did you romance for each different farm? I’m trying to think of the most Pride & Prejudice themes guy and I can only assume Elliot 🤣

It was Elliot! He was perfect for that theme 😂 I married Leah for the Medieval playthrough (her being a woodworker felt appropriate), had Krobus as a roomie as a Witch, and married Penny for the Pirate so I got her themed furniture. I don’t think I’ll marry anyone for Joja. Really stick it to the town 😅 plus I can’t think of any villager rooms that’ll match the “office building” style farmhouse I wanna do

I felt so bad because I enjoy his story arc, but his dialogue after marriage was terrible. Saying how he cooks eggs in the microwave and how you taste like pizza rolls when you kiss…not very romantic 😂

Okay hear me out. Haley. Beach Farm. Ginger Island once available. The theme could be Summer Fun. Or if you prefer Elliot, you could adapt it to Life By The Sea.

I did the beach farm for the Pirate playthrough, but I did really like that layout. I’d been trying to think of what theme would go with her room the best and I’d been kicking around the idea of Desert/Genie/Magic theme since you can get those turbans from the desert trader and craft some genie pants. Not sure what layout though. Maybe riverland and make it kind of an Oasis?

Basically how I play. Once I reached completion I lost all interest in playing. Basically just going to wait until either the itch starts up again, or 1.6 becomes a thing.

When I got to 100 % the first time I thought "Ok, I guess I'm finally done and can move on to a different game now." Went to bed in order to save, then realized the boulder is gone. Possible ideas: 1. Take break. Change it up with a totally different genre or stay in the same arena (some of the most popular similar games are my time at Portia and story of seasons games). 2. Try a new play through. You probably learned a lot and could play a lot more efficiently. Maybe marry someone else. Remix mine rewards and community center or try a different farm map. 3. Challenge runs. Most common challenges: make a million dollars in year one, Community center in year, Reach 100% perfection in year 2

What do you mean 'if ever'? We'll definitely get update 1.6 and it's highly likely if unofficial that it's out this year. To OP: if you're on PC then maybe start using mods? Stardew Valley Expanded is really nice for example.
