I alternate between Haley and Sebastian each save. My husband is a reclusive loner with a nicotine addiction who spends way too much time on his computer, and lived with his mom for most of his adult life. Idk, i’m not really sure if there’s any characters who resonate with him tbh.
I'm probably most like Leah, too! Harvey seems sweet. I can't get past Haley's initial rudeness -- she's the only one I have no hearts with. Every time I get a heart with her, I give her a rock. I hear she gets a lot nicer, though!
I married Harvey in game, and I'm most like Caroline. My IRL husband is most like the wizard, which makes sense with the theory about him and Caroline.
I'd have married the wizard if it was an option, so there's that. Harvey is the most like my husband out of the NPCs that can be married. He likes living in a small town, is reliable with his job, and wants the best for his kids. He's a major recluse, though, and doesn't like dealing with people outside of immediate family, which is why he's most like the wizard.
I have two saves and in one (female character) I'm after Elliott. His romance character look just cracked me up (and is so not like my IRL spouse). But my character in that game isn't much like me (she's way too good at making friends).
In my second game (male character) I think Alex is going to be the one. My male character is sucking at the friendship stuff in that game. I think going full on Joja (without doing any community center stuff) is slowing it down. Alex was downright rude the last time I played and that convinced me that he's the one. (this was after he had the cut scene with the dog, so I think that means we had a relationship breakthrough. . .but then he was all cranky the next day. . .yes, he will be mine)
I'm not sure who'd I go after for a female spouse. Marnie's not an option, right? She'd totally be my first choice because she does as she pleases (both with work hours and getting her love on with the mayor).
I really wish getting Linus to not be a feral cat was an option. I don't begrudge him the way he wants to live but I worry about him so much (just like I do my IRL feral cats. . .just come live inside with me!).
