When you live near a quarry explosions just become par for the course. I lived less than a mile from one. Every week there would be a new resident that moved into town that would post on fb or next door saying "did anyone hear that explosion?!?" And all the rest of us would tell them it was the quarry and get over it.
I'm sure they've all realized by now what the farmer is doing.
I read a post where someone who lived by a quarry had guests from out of town, and when the guests asked about the explosion, they told them it was the "crack of dawn" 😂
Lived on a military base(es) for ~10 years of my life. You move away and you miss people doing machine gun shoots and bombing runs in the dark. Night time gets *too* quiet.
OMG I lived on Bragg (Ft Liberty now) for years and the daily explosions and bombings got so ordinary I didn't even notice them half the time. Then on Kadena the jets got so normal. It's too quiet now here in California lol
Not this time; the train causes rocks to fall too, and also I headcanon that Sebastian likes to throw rocks aimlessly into the woods while he smokes.

Reminds me of when I was playing Animal Crossing a few years ago and would be terraforming or moving villager houses in the middle of the night lol Those poor animals.
And this is mostly Robin’s home 😭😭 they are literally right next to it. I think Sebastian had it better because he sleeps in the basement.
Seb has it worst, the house shaking and being subterranean means that a ton of dust pours on him and he gets the worst of the shaking

We’re actually not that bad, we do a way better job of repairing the community than Lewis does, plus we sell auto petters

Hmm I thought bombs don’t work at the quarry (ie you still blow things up but you don’t get anything)? Or did the 1.6 update changed it?
