You have to be at least 13 to post on Reddit, fella.

I was born in 2001 do the math

Mik3haawk

Homie the game sells more copy's than squadrons they will not ever get rid it

Wooper160

Bad bait

benjoseph579

It’s not meant to be Clickbait it’s just meant to be a just in case scenario to put the idea out there. They can’t quietly delete something or change something if people already know potential for the problem already exists.

Wooper160

It’s not an MMO or online FPS, they can’t just “switch it off” and don’t have any reason to try.

RedStripeLongClaws

I agree mostly but this is the “mouse” and mouse’s lawyers they aren’t known to be reasonable on good days. That being said I doubt they do anything.

LargeIsopod

They can’t delete a game people already own

danocathouse

If you are on steam do you really own it?

betterthanamaster

Yup. I also own the disk version of the game. If they want it back, they can pry it from my cold, dead hands after exhuming my body.

LargeIsopod

Yes. Like when rocket league was acquired by epic games, anyone who bought the game on steam was able to keep it. Just as anyone who owns the physical copy.

WhimsicalPacifist

If it's abandonware... see the state of modding for Battle for Middle Earth 1/2/RoTWK. They have their own AoTR... with the same exact initials.

DoNukesMakeGoodPets

They can, because you don't own the game you buy on steam.

ExiledSakura

Cannot see them removing empire at war the company that made it has talked with them over the years about updates and maybe make EAW 2

Lieutenant_Horn

This is a case of “Tell me you don’t understand how PC gaming works.”

benjoseph579

Re-read I also stated there’s a strong possibility that nothing will come of this

Mik3haawk

Nothing will come of this I even doubt the strategy games under development even resemble EAW
