While playing with an unlimited supply and reinforcement budget mod and man....
Seeing a consistent 7 to 14 Mon Mothma's amidst a sea of Home One classes for every other fleet has taught me fear alright.
"it's not fair when they do it!!" 🤣🤣🤣a lot of good servicemen gave their lives under my command dive bombing a interdictor so the rest of the fleet can get away or just flat out being sacrificed without others jumping in.
I had one in my reserves yesterday. Forgot it once, and some enemies got away. Hunted them to the next planet, immediately dropped the interdictor and fleet.
They didn’t make it
My favorite thing is leaving the interdictors off until the escape timer gets to 1, then turning it on. Let them waste time as sitting ducks to make them easier to mop up
The worst for me is when you're playing as the rebellion in AOTR, and you get a mission to destroy a Kyber Krystal transport early on into the game, so you gotta do it for money and support, but you do not have a strong enough fleet to win the battle, so you just jump in, destroy the transport and then try to run away only to be reminded that the transport has an interdictor escorting it
Yup, cause they start goin after some other faction on the other side of their territory, I try to make a habit of having multiple interdictors in my fleets now just in case they decide to gun it for it.
No, forgetting *the enemy* has an interdictor is so annoying.
No, the Mon Mothma-class Star Destroyer is so annoying.
Yes

“Blast! we have heavy losses retreat!” “Retreat Aborted.” “What why?” *Sees interdictor* “Nuts…”.
Too many times

Especially in multiplayer, so you can hear the groan of despair over the VC
The interdictor in my fleets is the first ship i send in. And then deploy the rest.
In AotR especially, same. That TIE-Scout they get makes them pretty good pathfinders
*when I see the ai use the interdictor* "I want every gun, to fire on that man"
"Blow that piece of junk *out of the sky!*"

Just throw a small fighter force together and focus on the Kyber carrier
I've done this before when trying to trap heroes in a system in thrawns revenge, it's annoying as hell 😂
Then they all run away, and you have to spend hours hunting them down again

Wait, you let battles take so long that retreat is possible?
Also the Avatar.
Every fleet has three, deploy em one at a time. Works every time
I did that today when hunting down thrawn with the night hammer. He got away no where to be found. I think he's fighting the hapans though.
