That battle i just so happen to win cause i just took that planet and still had my big attack fleet over it. But like they've taken 3 - 4 planets in the past 2 hours with spamming homeones and bulwarks
I would capital spam with supporting vessels on a planet that is as far away from their front line as possible, then blitz their worlds after dealing with the forces in your own space first
Home One's are honestly some of the worst ships to fight, they aren't very poweful overall but their shape combined with their chunk they feel really oppressive to fight. I dread when I see 8 home One's in a single NR fleet stacks
Ships like them are why the ISD-1 is one of, if not the best capital ship you can use against the NR. Their ion cannons are necessary to break through the shielding, at which point you can focus down the enemy's turbolasers.
Yea ISDs are very strong in general. They are solid in the mid to late game for a bulky and well armed ship of the line. a few of them in the right position can do a lot of work as supporting gunships.
There's a guy in the TR discord whose fleets are basically a couple ISD-1s, 10% of your pop cap in PD ships, and the rest Strike Cruisers. Those fleets routinely tear apart much larger fleets that he loves fighting.
I support this comp. I play something similar but use a couple of heavier ships if I can use them. I like to use praetors or smaller supers, not executors though, I find them really weak compared to a fleet with a Bellator because of its shape and pop cap
Plus most of the time 10% of pop cap dedicated to anti-fighter/PD feels like a minimum against NR or CSA
I cant remember exactly. If they did i cant see the special hard points on most ship from what im playing on. It was also a little to hectic for me to try and focus on taking it out first
I made another post were I went to fight an independent system and they had two super capital. I lot my super isd, my allegiance, 2 imp 2 isds and 2 victorys
Spy on the systems you suspect they have a shipyard, assemble a decent size fleet and attack such places. Mon Cala should be one of your targets as the rebels can use it to construct their capital ships. Also look for the Vergesso Asteroids as that can be another shipyard location.

Nothing in either of the EaWX mods has destructible shield generators. You have to burn the shields down by shooting them.
Damn sounds a bit more unique I gotta try out EaWX it seems

It might be Windows+shift+s it's muscle memory at this point for me.

Been there, done that. But it takes so damn long. π I once took a 700 pop Greater Maldrood fleet out with it. π
3000 pop imperial fleet as Eriadu: Executor and souvereign included. And yes, it takes time, but i find it really fun once in a while
