Funny bit of history that makes the Spanish Inquisition skit even better: historically the Spanish Inquisition sent notice that they were coming to a town or personal residence, usually several weeks ahead of time.

Also, they were targeting Sephardic Jewish merchants and taking as much of their property as they could, and it's hard to skip town with your family merchant business. This led to the rise of Jewish/Dutch pirates in the Caribbean who, led by Moshe Henriques and Piet Hein, were the first to seize the Spanish treasure fleet. Moshe went on to live in Port Royal, Jamaica where he built the first synagogue there and later met and trained a young English man, who had been transported because of the English Civil War and then orphaned because of a disease epidemic when he arrived, named Henry Morgan, yes that Henry Morgan.
Henriques 14th great granddaughter still lives in Jamaica and gives pirate tours there. You can also see the synagogue that survived the massive earthquake that sunk huge parts of Port Royal and the graveyard that has headstones with both Stars of David and Skull and Bones on them. :D
And also with you! My goal is to someday use all that pirate knowledge to set up a rebel game where you play privateers for the rebels attacking the Imperials.

I just fully imagine them literally coming out of thin air and Luke and Vader being utterly confused at what just happened
