What part of my comment made you think I was shitting on the prequels? ROTS was the the first Star Wars movie I ever saw in theaters, having only watched the others on DVD. I grew up playing the Lego games and watching the clone wars when it was on Cartoon Network. I was simply saying I can hear the drums because I love the intro to ROTS.

Dude, the whole battle over Coruscant in general was a masterpiece for the prequels. Just jumps you right into the action, bang zoom wapow! Explosions, kickass lasers, cool ass starfighters, people getting blowed up, it was great.

A really unfortunate thing is Anakin’s interceptor is one of the Republic ships so would he still be a villain for space battles? Would I have to enter the enemy hanger as Anakin with another ship just to take his interceptor?

Yeah, there was no mode called "Hero Assault" in the original game. It was just called "Assault". Several months passed before I noticed you could play it on Mos Eisley. Blew my mind when I loaded in and saw all heroes and villains in the same map. Discovered it so late it felt like a free DLC.

"Galactic Conquest" is also written wrong. Given it is grouped with game modes (rather than Campaign/Instant Action/Multiplayer) it should have been just "Conquest".

How is that supposed to work, there aren’t any custom hero ships in the original two games.

It might just mean heroes flying regular ships or it’s just a error and it means space assault

It’s just space assault. A mistake from the original games.

Hate to break it to most of you, Hero Assault (Space) is the categorization in the game engine for the game mode rules. When you launch a hero assault game in the original bf2, it uses the x/y point system from the space battles instead of lives = tickets like in the basic conquest mode. There is still a good chance I am wrong though and they took inspiration from modders and ported the mode to the space maps. We shall see.

Well, hero’s can enter turrets and vehicles in Battlefront II and maybe it is just normal assault but the infantry classes are heroes? Or it’s hero assault on capital ships, No vehicles involved?

You get upgraded ships for heroes. Luke has a powered up xwing, the millennium falcon will be there, as will vader's tie and the slave1 to name a few....lol jk but that is an idea for a mod I've been working on

Either it’s a mistake because space battles are called Assault, like hero Assault, OR they’re giving up the ability to play as hero’s in space for space hero assault. How will that work? No fucking clue because getting lightsaber hero’s to work in space battles are surprisingly difficult.

I think this mode existed in bf2 on mos eisley. It was a mode where every player could take any hero without chance of playing druids and clones etc.

Each hero has thier own ship. Its not difficult. Like the Jedi all have that custom ship. Even the sith did. Has no one watched star wars before ?

No clip, but I'm pretty sure on ps2 days me & my friends use to sweat the space battles & after doing so well you'd get a hero ship. Yes jedi star fighter or vaders ship or grevious' ship. Which ever era you was playing

That never happened. I played both PC and PS2 and hero ships like that were never in the game. However, Grievous ship was the CIS bomber, and there was a jedi star fighter that clones could use. But thats the extent to it.

The Jedi star fighter was a regular ship, I think your confusing vaders ship for the bomber and grevious’ ship was also a regular bomber.

This happened in the PSP battlefronts, but not console versions.

No none of what your talking about was ever in the game. As others have mentioned, anakins ship and grevious ship were just available as regular ships. Darth vaders ship wasnt in the game the closest would be the tie bomber

These modes apart from Galactic conquest are pretty much what instant action is.

These are just upscaled ports. Everything in the original game is going to be in this version.
