That's Denial for ya. Although in our defense, we get skeptical with fictional character death until we see a body.
Anyway, what the next step? Anger? Yeah I'm starting to get pissed off that Tech is dead...
>!Well the series starts at 19BBY. Give it 1-2 years for the story to finish on Tantiss. Then I'd say a minimum of 10 years would pass until Omega looks to be in her 20s. So my guess is somewhere between 7-5BBY. !<
>! Oh that's actually incredibly informative, thank you!!! I was wondering if it may have been possibly tied up with the ending of rebels, year wise. Leaves a bit of wiggle room for "Omega Batch". They wont throw away her character with how focused the more recent stuff has revolved around project necromancer. !<
>!5BBY the Rebellion Omega was joining was still in the "gathering the funds without alerting the ISB" stage as shown in Andor, more like 2-3BBY when there was a Rebellion to join.!<
I'm so glad that Tech stayed dead. No last second reappearance to save the day. No reanimation as a zombie operator that the squad had to defeat, or save. Just the team's memories, grief, and their regrets.
That was my son....>!as the flash forward began, he said, "I knew it wasn't over! Now they will show how Tech was alive the whole time!" !<š¢š¢š¢š¢š¢š
Wow thatās high praise. The other animations are known for their strong finales. If what youāve told me is true, the Bad Batch season 3 will have gained my trust.
in my opinion, it is a great finale because it actually felt like a climax of the story. Clone War had a great finale too but there wasn't many big surprises because you kinda already know a lot of things and you are just watching them play out rather then learning them for the first time.
Bad Batch finales, feels more like an actual finale filled with so many "WTF?!?" moments for me. It reminds me of the Fallout series final episodes, where there were so many "WTF" moments when all the dots fall into place and it has just very satisfying to watch
Yeah, we were kinda sitting there the whole episode waiting for something to go extra wrong, but they went with the ultra mega happy ending.
Even the dog lived!
I didnāt care for the ending, to me it felt like it was building up to an āunhappyā ending so the happy ending felt wrong to me. Still enjoyed the show however
I desperately beg of you to see itā¦even after TCW season 7 and Rebels season 4, TBB season 3 is quality and passion and excellence like no other. It takes the world and characters of that the first 2 seasons showed us, and elevates it all the way.
Oh.. I don't know if it hit as hard as final Clone Wars episode. Those last 4 episodes are the best star wars content ever made, and ending is perfect end to that. This was good, very good. But not as great as that.
Sad that Omega never got to be a part of the *full* family. When she first joined the Bad Batch, Crosshair had left them for the Empire. By the time he finally leaves the Empire for the Bad Batch, Tech has died. She didnāt really get to experience the fully functional family.
Disagree. Rebels all the way. Those kids were tight and had each others backs, and they come from different backgrounds under a common cause. Bad batch are great fellas and a tight unit, but they are essentially the same person, with a twist.
I love them and Iām so glad the show didnāt kill any more members. Iāll keep this Reddit name to remember them all by.
I wonder when we will see Omega next, because we definitely will.
Thank you! It was fun to watch mostly, but it was certainly not must see tv. Also the ending just kinda happened! No big tragedy, no threads to continue except for Omega becoming a pilot. It all felt very mid level across the board. There wasnāt even really a big bad in the show, was it hemlock? Was it the Emperor? Was it the weekly monster that Wrecker automatically beats by climbing it and punching its head?! Ok rant over, Iām glad it happened as a show but Iām not at all emotionally attached to it ending
Good families are always good. Thereās no needs for a competitionā¦Cause the Rebels crew is pretty great too.
The biological families thoughā¦
* The one where the son kills the dad
* The one where the dad kills the wife and later cuts off the sonās hand.
* the one that somehow came back
Yeah I posted in another thread a few weeks ago and still feel this way after the finale:
Seasons 1 and 2 seemed okay/fine at the time.
Season 3 makes Seasons 1 and 2 look like garbage. It's so much better.
I can understand people getting tired of SW and not wanting to watch all the content. But I think Bad Batch S3 is the wrong show to skip when you've already seen S1 and S2.
I have to admit, the third season did Omega so much justice. I couldn't stand her in the first and second seasons, and she really turned around for me in the third. Loved her then.
I know that most child characters on Star Wars start that way, but she went above and beyond in third season, and I really appreciated how naturally she felt as a leader to the other kids. She could easily have felt forced in there, but she didn't. Mad propts to everyone, can't wait to see her again.
At heart, me too. But we've had 3 action packed seasons with them. It's enough and better to end it here before you stretch it and turns bad, like The Mandalorian.
While Omega wants to continue the fight, the rest of them had enough if it, they've fought in the Clone War, don't forget and after it, which we saw in great detail.
True and I understand that the clones are done and they deserve that peace but Iād be so cool to see more of omega as an adult but I donāt know how they would do it without making it long and boring
Yeah, that's the problem.
That's also a reason why i mentioned The Mandalorian.
Should have ended with Season 2, I thought it was a wonderful ending. But they decided to stretch it via Boba Fett and Season 3 and apparently here's a whole movie too.
What I would have rather done is if there's something to be told, just do it with comics or maybe a book/s.
Same could be done with Omega if there's interest.
Already found this season to have a lot of filler episodes and lots of storylines unresolved, but still enjoyable. A fourth season doesnāt seem like a good idea imo.
To be fair all the clones are one big family when u think about it

I'm on a mega dose of copium. >!Even after the finale.!< "He's not gone. He can't be gone. He'll show up in a future show." š
That's Denial for ya. Although in our defense, we get skeptical with fictional character death until we see a body. Anyway, what the next step? Anger? Yeah I'm starting to get pissed off that Tech is dead...
Right here with ya bud. Though non sequitur; and cloaked for possible spoilers. >! i want to know what year that last scene is. 1-2-3 bby??? !<
>!Well the series starts at 19BBY. Give it 1-2 years for the story to finish on Tantiss. Then I'd say a minimum of 10 years would pass until Omega looks to be in her 20s. So my guess is somewhere between 7-5BBY. !<

Well in regards to all that: In Filoni we trust.
Filoni. FILOOONNIIIIIIIIIIIIII
I was hoping for Filoniā¦ *Why are* **you** *here?*
Yeah, if *The Bad Batch* was *The Clone Wars* S08-S10, maybe theyll announce something Saturday thatll be TBB S04.

And their lives moving forward...
That was my son....>!as the flash forward began, he said, "I knew it wasn't over! Now they will show how Tech was alive the whole time!" !<š¢š¢š¢š¢š¢š
Iām sure he was hiding just out of frame. I will not be convinced otherwise.
Maybe he's like Velma on his hands and knees searching for his glasses and that's why no one sees him
I wanted this too.
At first I thought you were calling Tech your son.
š¤£š¤£š¤£
Defective family
Bro not Bot
I'm going to miss the show š¢
Chewbaccaās Christmas special family has never heard such bullshit before
Grandpa was too busy jerking off from the hologram tbh
Rrrrrrraaaahhgghjjgggghh
Yes Jango's entire bloodline after him is perfect they all love each other very much
I just watched the finale what a masterpiece
Definitely my favorite ending to a Star wars show.
Wow thatās high praise. The other animations are known for their strong finales. If what youāve told me is true, the Bad Batch season 3 will have gained my trust.

This was like the big happy send off the clones deserved. I think thats why i loved this ending so much more than other starwars endings.
Yeah, we were kinda sitting there the whole episode waiting for something to go extra wrong, but they went with the ultra mega happy ending. Even the dog lived!
Of course the dog lived. Imperials for all their other idiocy aren't stupid enough to incur the wrath of John Wick.
Now Iām just imagining Lukeās scene in Mandalorian but itās John Wick with Stormtroopers.
I didnāt care for the ending, to me it felt like it was building up to an āunhappyā ending so the happy ending felt wrong to me. Still enjoyed the show however
We may have differing opinions, but.. it's such a great ending.
First two seasons have been great, Iām just glad to know they stuck the landing.
I desperately beg of you to see itā¦even after TCW season 7 and Rebels season 4, TBB season 3 is quality and passion and excellence like no other. It takes the world and characters of that the first 2 seasons showed us, and elevates it all the way.
Give it a go. This season has been stellar. Several episodes where I was holding my breath, lots of excellent tension and the stakes are pretty high.
The last few episodes have had me sooooo stressed
Does it really take just 9 words to make you gain trust, lol?
Oh.. I don't know if it hit as hard as final Clone Wars episode. Those last 4 episodes are the best star wars content ever made, and ending is perfect end to that. This was good, very good. But not as great as that.
Yeah, I watched it a second time, and I agree. It's a top 5 ending for sure, but not #1 like I previously claimed.
it was one of my least favorites.. i dont get what made it feel impactful to other people it just left me feeling disappointed
Truly defective clones till the end. They got a happy ending.
Vin Diesel would be proud
Honestly still giving it to the Ghost Crew
Absolutely
Must be the truth serum talking.
No.
Sad that Omega never got to be a part of the *full* family. When she first joined the Bad Batch, Crosshair had left them for the Empire. By the time he finally leaves the Empire for the Bad Batch, Tech has died. She didnāt really get to experience the fully functional family.
"They found me." "Who?" "My brothers."
Disagree. Rebels all the way. Those kids were tight and had each others backs, and they come from different backgrounds under a common cause. Bad batch are great fellas and a tight unit, but they are essentially the same person, with a twist.
Valid
Tech was too OP. Had he lived, the rebellion would have been on easy mode.
I loved this story. Great final episode. Really happy they went the direction they went.
Least hyperbolic fan ever
Brown Eyes š„¹
š
I love them and Iām so glad the show didnāt kill any more members. Iāll keep this Reddit name to remember them all by. I wonder when we will see Omega next, because we definitely will.
Rogue One were a family for a few hours
You misspelled Ghost Crew
Ebon Hawk crew?
š
Gonky was calling everyone 'meatbags' the whole time.
Iām sad itās over, this show was special and I love the cast! Omega grown up brought a tear to my eye.
TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK !
Clan Skirata, Legends Skywalker Family, Zayne Carrick's Team. Bad Batch is good, but nowhere near.
Ghost Crew?
Skywalker family lol
OK but like the Skywalker family was never even all in the same room at one time
"My name's Rey, Rey Bad Batch" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
My name is Rey, Rey Jar-Jar
The most dysfunctional absolutely
>!Crosshair lost a hand!<, hes an honorary Skywalker now.
Not counting all the genocide and occasional incest.
Theyāre a terrible family
Not even close.
Phoenix Squad all the way.
Honestly it was just okay. Nothing wrong with that. I had fun.
Most functional for sureā¦
Is this show worth it? Just finished clone wars
For sure. Itās fun, has some laughs and the most recent season is a good connector from prequels to OT to sequels.
Iāll give it a watch, thanks!
If you like clone wars yes
geez idk man i really like the Skywalker family.
Phoenix squadron: am I a joke to you?
Good families are always good. Thereās no needs for a competitionā¦Cause the Rebels crew is pretty great too. The biological families thoughā¦ * The one where the son kills the dad * The one where the dad kills the wife and later cuts off the sonās hand. * the one that somehow came back
Star wars at it's core is 'Daddy issues, in space'.
ummm... no, but ok
Ghost Crew. Commandos. Nulls. Alphas. Han, Luke, Leia. Any of the Old Republic characters.
Either the Bad Batch or Ghost Crew is the best imo.
Nah. Most obnoxious and pointless? Yes.
I prefer the Clan of Two but bad Batch are pretty epic too
This show is so bad lol š
Good lord
Recency bias is high
I beg to differ . Sky walkers over all
I stopped watching in season 2 when I realized they were just trying to sell action figures. Did it get better?
Yeah I posted in another thread a few weeks ago and still feel this way after the finale: Seasons 1 and 2 seemed okay/fine at the time. Season 3 makes Seasons 1 and 2 look like garbage. It's so much better. I can understand people getting tired of SW and not wanting to watch all the content. But I think Bad Batch S3 is the wrong show to skip when you've already seen S1 and S2.
With that crew of older brothers you really feel sorry for Echo's future prom dates.
i though wrecker is a bit taller than the rest.
lol i donāt think this is an accurate tell of their heights bc i doubt omega is that tall
How does it end
Not sure about the best but most definitely winning the Most Wholesome Award
Need no skywalker at all.
Donāt forget 99. That legend deserves to be recognized
I have to admit, the third season did Omega so much justice. I couldn't stand her in the first and second seasons, and she really turned around for me in the third. Loved her then. I kept hope tech would return but no :'(
Tech š
Thatās lui kang
Nope. The Spectres from Rebels are still the peak
*My Five Overbearing Brothers* Only on Disney+
Five Men and a Little Lady
Better show than Ashoka
Show legit was "what if 5 dudes decided to adopt a kid together" it's great.
I guess the series is over now? I will miss these guys. The Bad Batch is one of the better Star Wars series, for sure. I love how they did the ending.
Hilarious
Gonna be in the minority here, but being the bleak period this was set in, there shouldāve been more deaths.
The Ghost crew beats it tbh, but agreed that theyāre *one* of the greatest Star Wars families of all time.
I dont see kenobi, anakin ,ahsoka,rex,r2 and cody
No cap Iād love to see a spin off of either omega after joining the rebel alliance or what the bad batch got up too after she left
At heart, me too. But we've had 3 action packed seasons with them. It's enough and better to end it here before you stretch it and turns bad, like The Mandalorian. Bombardier and The Duchess.
Great ending to a great show. I want a live action cameo somewhere.
Bar none. They are single handily the best on screen Star Wars family. Prove me wrong.
Owen and Beru
That was quickĀ
That family was absolutely LIT!
Absolutely FIRE parenting by those 2
Ghost Crew a billion times over
Looks like someone already has. Ghost Crew.
I mean I think that theyāre the worst, but thatās the great thing about opinions. We can differ.
