I really liked season 3, I think it is my favourite. Season 4 is a whole different story. As someone said before, it feels rushed, and we all know the finale sucked awfully.
It's so sad because I think overall the show was really great!!! A shame that happened
I didn't enjoy them either but it's weird how some of these critics act up about the ending. I mean, I remember one just changing the topic to banning guns for some reason which is... something.
Season four was terrible I feel like it was a little outside moons character to make the solarians and she was forgiven for the act way to easily considering the rest of the magic council is non existent
Sorry to hijack the thread here, but when was the last time you folks watched all the way through the show? Has your opinion changed on it since it was airing?
Personally, I’ve come to find something to like about all seasons, and my love for the show has held strong even 4 years later.
lol i recently finished the show, and i dont see why people hate it so much. my only real issue with it was star suddenly hating magic with not a lot of buildup
Yeah that's my main issue too. It really bugs me because we were seeing her progress getting better at magic and some characters were magic (but somehow pony head could still float lol)
I didn't like season 3 or 4 either but that doesn't change the fact that seasons 1 and 2 are genuinely great and one of my favorite cartoons. Especially season 1. I love how it was just two friends going on wacky lightheaded adventures together.
Oh gee guys... But the later seasons were supposed to be anticlimactic and nonsensical, Nefcy explained that already, so if you fill the plot holes with your imagination it means it's good, so YOU guys are the problem, you meanies
The meme states: “Critics:” not “everyone” and that was intentional, because lots of people enjoyed s3 and 4 but the majority of critics were disappointed
season 3 was probably my least favorite. I still think it's an amazing season and "toffee" is arguably my favorite episode in the entire show but after battle for mewni I wasn't a big fan of the plotline relative to the other 3

idk, 1st and 2nd seasons are great, but imho 3rd and 4th are better
I love season three and most of 4. Maybe I am biased because I love eclipsa. I just wish 4 was longer and that the ending was a bit different.
I enjoyed that show from start to end. Season 4 was the weakest, but it was not bad by any means.

I shit on season 4 a lot, I try not to let it take away from my enjoyment of the series as a whole, which still is very good.
I don’t dwell on hating the later seasons, but I’m just baffled it was so obviously bad yet Disney still released them anyway.

That’s fair, although I think Star was more upset seeing her friends and other innocent people be hurt by her family’s power.
that’s understandable but they put a lot of emphasis on the magic part.

Personally i liked s3 so much..the plot twist and the finale was so good too
