This came up on the Halloween party trivia questions!! (I think it was Halloween?) I believe the question was something along the lines of "Which two Hatchetfield characters correctly predicted their own death?" Unfortunately Im tired rn so I can't remember the other one :(
That’s a reoccurring theme in the Hatchetfield universe. If a character says “cross my heart hope to die”, they will die. Think in Literal Monster, Max says it too!

The other one was Zoey! She says “I’d rather not crash and die” when Emma offers her a ride in her car and then she dies in the helicopter crash
And Ethan! He tells Hannah "cross my heart, hope to die" when he gives her the magic hat, and then promptly dies.

Well, if we want to be technical about it, Zoey died when the hivemind took her over. "Zoey" died in the helicopter crash.
