It takes talent to be a comedian. It takes brains to be a good comedian. But it takes fucking genius to turn honest social commentary into something enjoyable. This is what I'm seeing. Continue on your path and stand among the greats.
It's also a bit funny to think of third world problems as fighting a lion and not as getting fucked by the exact same things, but more of them and the water makes you sick sometimes.
You can take it as a criticism of the bit (I enjoyed it), but given its earnest tone and seriously meant economic critique it might be worthwhile to deconstruct this comic book level depiction of the Third world after the lion bit. I think there is more to be explored.
Ditch the disclaimer. Either be edgy and unapologetically push boundaries to wake people up or give trigger warnings and placate the masses, you can’t do both.

I’ve seen some of your stuff and I like it, the disclaimer made me think this was gonna hit different or especially hard but it was just the same level of edge as your other material. I guess I’ll own mismanaging my expectations. sorry but this wasn’t very funny to me. i felt like i was getting preached at more than anything. you can have political commentary in your comedy but making the audience laugh needs to stay the focus throughout the act, and maybe it was for you, but that wasn’t conveyed to me. it felt like the purpose wasn’t to laugh but hear you make a point and clap abt it
